The Business Banking - Portfolio Manager I is responsible for managing a portfolio of Small Business and/or Business Banking loans to ensure credit quality, compliance, and profitable growth. This role strengthens client relationships; monitors risk and supports the Bank’s lending strategy by delivering sound credit oversight and portfolio management that balance opportunities with prudent risk management.
This role manages an assigned portfolio of Small Business and Business Banking loans, ensuring portfolio quality, compliance with credit policy, and alignment with the bank’s growth objectives. Partners with SBC’s, Relationship Managers, Credit Officers, and business leaders to structure credit solutions, monitor borrower performance, and identify emerging risks. By delivering accurate, timely portfolio reviews and recommendations, the Business Banking-Portfolio Manager I supports sound credit decisions that balance client needs with prudent risk management.
Ultimately, this role contributes to sustaining strong client relationships, protecting the bank’s assets, and driving long-term profitability.
