Job Summary

We are looking for a Tableau Developer & Automation Specialist to support the WW Materials team in building scalable dashboards, improving reporting efficiency, and automating manual processes. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Tableau, SQL, data analysis, and automation tools, with the ability to translate business requirements into reliable, user-friendly reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and reports for business users and leadership teams.
• Gather requirements from stakeholders and convert them into clear technical specifications and dashboard solutions.
• Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries to extract, transform, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources.
• Improve dashboard performance, usability, data refresh reliability, and overall user experience.
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends, gaps, risks, and opportunities that support business decisions.
• Build automation solutions to reduce manual reporting efforts using tools such as Power Automate, Power Apps, Excel macros, Python, or similar technologies.
• Support data quality checks, governance processes, and validation controls to ensure reporting accuracy.
• Provide training, guidance, and support to end users and citizen developers on Tableau usage and reporting best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business owners, data teams, developers, and operations stakeholders.
• Stay updated on Tableau, analytics, and automation trends to continuously enhance reporting capabilities.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.

1–3 years of proven experience as a Tableau Developer, Data Analyst, or similar role.

Core Competencies

• Strong hands-on experience with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server or Tableau Cloud.
• Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as Snowflake, SQL Server, MySQL, or similar platforms.
• Hands on Experience with automation tools such as Power Automate, Power Apps, Excel VBA/macros, Python.
• Ability to understand business processes and convert data into meaningful dashboards, KPIs, and actionable insights.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills with the ability to interact with business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver within timelines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of ETL processes, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience working with supply chain, materials, procurement, operations, or manufacturing data is an added advantage.
• Exposure to Agile ways of working, UAT support, dashboard governance, and user training will be preferred.
