Advanced Technology Platforms - Sight Systems Integration & Test Manager - LL6

Shape the Future of Manufacturing with ATP

At Ford, we aren’t just building vehicles — we are redefining how the world moves. Within the Advanced Industrial Technology and Platforms (ATP) organization, we are the architects of Ford’s next industrial revolution.

Our mission is clear: we build and scale industrial platforms, technologies, and capabilities that unlock Ford Firsts to drive sustained competitive advantage in manufacturing. Driven by our vision to "build once, scale everywhere," we bridge the gap between cutting-edge technology and global physical deployment.

Our guiding mantra is simple yet relentless: Scale what matters, win what's next.

If you are a high-tech builder, thinker, or innovator who thrives at the intersection of software, hardware, and massive scale, ATP is where you belong. Join us, and write the next chapter of industrial history.

In this position...

Advanced Industrial Technology and Platforms (ATP) is a new, centralized organization designed to position Ford to lead industrial innovation. This team will accelerate our digital evolution and manufacturing excellence - advancing the modernization of our Ford Manufacturing operations with cutting-edge technology. As part of Ford Manufacturing, ATP is designed to integrate directly into our manufacturing sites, partner across teams (GME, safety, etc.) and drive innovation from initial idea to full implementation.

This new structure includes four vertical business units - focused on specific technology stacks - and four horizontals - shared services designed to ensure scale, deployment and operational consistency. As part of the AITP organization, the Sight Vertical is responsible for building an end-to-end business around AI/ML anomaly detection products, with image (Sight) and parametric data (Sense). This vertical transforms image and parametric data into actionable manufacturing intelligence through products like Sight.Scout (visual error proofing), Sight.Surface (defect detection), and Sight.IQ (assembly process monitoring).

This transformation requires leaders who can compress readiness cycles, integrate next-generation platforms, and deliver breakthroughs that set new global standards in industrial AI/ML anomaly detection products.

Focus: Plant Deployment Leadership, Systems Integration & Test, Cross-Functional Delivery

Are you the leader who turns great Sight products into flawless plant deployments? As the Systems Integration and Test Manager for the Sight Vertical, you will own the end-to-end deployment of all Sight products (Sight.Scout, Sight.IQ, Sense.Machine, and future launches) into Ford manufacturing plants worldwide. You will embed with the product teams from early development to shape integration requirements, then translate that knowledge into airtight, "plug-and-play" plant readiness, testing, validation, and deployment plans. Your mission: make every Sight deployment predictable, repeatable, and "Build Once, Scale Everywhere" ready.

What you'll do...

Reporting to the Sight Vertical Lead, the Systems Integration and Test Manager is the connective tissue between Sight product development and the plant floor. You will lead and coach the Systems Integration Engineers, each responsible for specific product/plant deployments, while you own the overall integration strategy, standards, and governance across the full Sight portfolio.

Embed with Product Teams: Partner with Sight Product Managers and Engineering from early development to understand product architecture, integration needs, and readiness requirements before plants are engaged.

Own the Deployment Playbook: Build and maintain the standard process, tools, and documentation for plant integration readiness, resourcing, testing, and validation across all Sight products.

Lead Plant Integration Readiness: Assess and prepare plants (network, hardware, line conditions, safety, IT/OT) for "plug-and-play" Sight deployments, resolving readiness gaps before Job 1.

Plan & Resource Deployments: Build the deployment plan, timeline, and resource model for each rollout, coordinating internal engineers, plant teams, and third-party suppliers.

Drive Testing & Validation: Define and lead the systems integration test strategy, validation protocols, and acceptance criteria that confirm each product performs to spec on the plant floor.

Partner with Plant SPOCs & Customers: Work hand-in-hand with plant Advanced Innovation SPOCs and key plant customers to ensure smooth deployment, fast issue resolution, and high customer satisfaction.

Orchestrate Cross-Functional Delivery: Lead and coordinate deployment activities across 3rd-party suppliers, TDM, GME, and Core Controls, ensuring every partner works to the right standards, processes, and robustness.

Manage the SIE Team: Lead and coach Systems Integration Engineers who own execution of specific product deployments in specific plants, ensuring consistency and knowledge-sharing across sites.

Champion Readiness Gates: Manage products through the TRL/MRL/IRL framework, ensuring every Sight solution reaches "Factory Ready" (MRL 9) status before scaling.

Documentation & Standards: Own the integration and test documentation library, ensuring repeatable, auditable, and compliant deployment records across all plants.

What does success look like?

Zero-Integration Deployment: Sight products are deployed into plants "plug-and-play," without custom site-level engineering rework.

Cycle Time Reduction: Plant integration readiness cycles compress from months to weeks.

Customer Satisfaction: Consistently high satisfaction scores from plant SPOCs and key customers post-deployment.

Standardization: A single, repeatable deployment playbook adopted across all Sight product launches and plants.

Partner Alignment: 3rd party suppliers, TDM, GME, and Core Controls consistently deliver to Sight's integration standards and timelines.

Sight products achieve MRL 9 gates aligned to global program milestones.
