The Manager, Procurement Operations is a key member of the Procurement Operations team, supporting the transformation and ongoing optimization of procurement capabilities across Four Seasons hotel, resort, residential, and mixed-use properties globally.

This role serves as a critical operational bridge between property teams, suppliers, Procurement, Finance, Product, Data, Technology, and third-party implementation partners. The Manager brings deep hospitality procurement expertise to ensure that global solutions, processes, and deployment activities reflect the realities of property operations while supporting scalable, consistent ways of working across the organization.

Through the global transformation and beyond, this role will help ensure properties and suppliers are prepared for successful transitions, operational risks are identified and addressed, and lessons learned across deployments are translated into sustainable process improvements.

The ideal candidate combines hands-on hospitality procurement experience with strong operational judgment, analytical capability, stakeholder management, and experience supporting technology-enabled transformation.

What You’ll Be Doing

Procurement Operations & Process Excellence

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for hospitality procurement and procure-to-pay operations, representing property-level requirements and operational realities across transformation initiatives.
  • Translate property procurement processes, challenges, and business requirements into clear, actionable requirements for Product, Technology, Data, Finance, and implementation teams.
  • Evaluate processes and requirements through a global procurement lens, balancing property needs with standardization, scalability, controls, and long-term operational sustainability.
  • Identify recurring operational issues, process gaps, and opportunities for improvement across properties and deployment waves.
  • Partner with Business Process Management, Product, Finance, and other stakeholders to support process harmonization and continuous improvement.
  • Support the development and maintenance of procurement policies, procedures, operating standards, training materials, and knowledge content.
  • Provide structured analysis and recommendations that articulate operational impact, business value, risks, dependencies, and measurable outcomes.
  • Support high-priority procurement operational issues through resolution and appropriate escalation.

Procurement Transformation & Deployment

  • Support property and deployment teams through planning, readiness, deployment, stabilization, and transition to ongoing support.
  • Assess property readiness from a procurement perspective, including processes, supplier readiness, data quality, training requirements, and operational dependencies.
  • Support procurement-related data migration activities, validation, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Property Acceptance Testing (PAT), training validation, hypercare, and stabilization.
  • Provide property teams with clear context regarding how existing procurement processes and data will translate into future-state solutions and workflows.
  • Identify risks and dependencies that could impact property readiness or successful adoption and coordinate appropriate remediation.
  • Partner with Change Management, Deployment, Product, Technology, Data, Finance, and other teams to ensure procurement activities are integrated into the broader transformation plan.
  • Support stakeholder communications and change activities to promote successful adoption and sustainable operational practices.
  • Capture lessons learned across deployments and translate them into improvements for subsequent properties and deployment waves.

Supplier Enablement & Data Quality

  • Support the supplier enablement strategy across properties, identifying opportunities to manage supplier relationships and connectivity at a scalable, enterprise level.
  • Partner with internal teams and implementation partners to support supplier onboarding, testing, activation, and readiness activities.
  • Review supplier and procurement data for completeness, accuracy, duplication, and operational relevance prior to migration or deployment.
  • Help establish consistent approaches to vendor master data, supplier information, catalogs, order guides, purchasing data, and related procurement structures.
  • Identify suppliers shared across multiple properties and opportunities to consolidate testing, communication, onboarding, or issue resolution where appropriate.
  • Monitor supplier-related risks and dependencies and escalate issues requiring corporate procurement intervention.
  • Ensure supplier activities are coordinated effectively while maintaining clear accountability among Four Seasons teams, suppliers, and implementation partners.

Implementation Partner & Cross-Functional Governance

  • Work closely with third-party implementation partners to ensure procurement activities are executed in alignment with agreed processes, requirements, timelines, and quality expectations.
  • Review implementation outputs from a procurement operations perspective and identify gaps in execution, data quality, supplier engagement, property readiness, or process adherence.
  • Drive appropriate remediation and escalation while maintaining clear ownership and accountability for activities assigned to implementation partners.
  • Identify patterns across individual property or supplier issues and recommend systemic solutions rather than repeated one-off remediation.
  • Facilitate effective collaboration across Procurement, properties, suppliers, implementation partners, Product, Technology, Data, Finance, and other stakeholders.
  • Provide clear status, risk, dependency, and decision reporting to Procurement Operations leadership.
  • Use established work management and support platforms, including Azure DevOps, Jira, ServiceNow, or similar tools, to support transparency, issue management, and cross-functional execution.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of hospitality procurement, purchasing, procure-to-pay, or closely related operational experience.
  • Hands-on experience in hotel, resort, residential, or mixed-use property operations; prior property-level purchasing leadership experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end procurement processes, including supplier onboarding, vendor master management, purchasing, purchase orders, receiving, catalogs/order guides, and related procure-to-pay workflows.
  • Working knowledge of the intersection between Procurement, Accounts Payable, Finance, and operational controls.
  • Experience supporting procurement technology, ERP, procure-to-pay platforms, or other technology-enabled operational transformation.
  • Experience with supplier enablement, procurement data, system implementation, data migration, testing, deployment, or stabilization activities preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience identifying operational issues, developing structured resolution plans, and coordinating execution across multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience working with third-party implementation partners, consultants, or system integrators preferred.
  • Experience supporting change initiatives within complex, multi-location organizations.
  • Experience with structured testing and work management solutions such as Azure DevOps or Jira preferred.
  • Experience with workflow and service management tools such as ServiceNow or Zendesk preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, Finance, Technology, or a related discipline; relevant professional certifications are an asset.

Key Competencies

  • Strong hospitality procurement and operational acumen.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to translate property and supplier challenges into structured business requirements and actionable solutions.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational capabilities.
  • Ability to distinguish isolated issues from systemic process or data problems and develop scalable solutions.
  • Strong project and workstream management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and dependencies.
  • Ability to work effectively across diverse, global, and remote teams.
  • Confidence working with senior stakeholders, property leaders, suppliers, technology teams, and external implementation partners.
  • High degree of accountability, curiosity, and sound operational judgment.
  • Collaborative approach with the ability to challenge constructively and navigate complex stakeholder environments.
  • Strong customer and property-centric mindset while balancing global standards and enterprise requirements.
