Functional Devices, Inc. Manufacturing

Director of Data Center Business Development

Remote Full-time

Build the market. Create the relationships. Drive the growth.

At Functional Devices, Inc., we're looking for a hands-on data center business development leader who knows the market, understands where investment is headed, and can create opportunities with strategic accounts and hyperscale operators. We need someone who can identify where the biggest opportunities are, build relationships with the people shaping those opportunities, and turn market insight into real commercial growth.

This is a build-the-market, create-the-strategy, open-the-doors opportunity where you'll help determine which customers, applications, and routes to market deserve our focus, then personally help move those opportunities forward.

You'll work across sales, engineering, and product development, connecting what the market needs with how we sell, where we invest, and what we develop next. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Sales, you'll have the opportunity to influence both our commercial strategy and product direction within the data center market.

Why Functional Devices?

At Functional Devices, Inc., we have been providing top-quality products to a diverse range of industries since 1969. Our solutions support building automation, HVAC, lighting, electrical, panel shop, fire and safety, wireless, and power monitoring applications.

Located in Indiana, we design and manufacture products that are rigorously tested for quality before leaving our production floor. Our success is built on a commitment to excellence, innovation, collaboration, and integrity, values that guide how we serve customers, support one another, and grow our business.

As we pursue growth opportunities within the data center market, we're looking for a leader who can help us understand the market, build the right relationships, identify where our products can make an impact, and help turn those opportunities into business.
