Job Description Summary
The Lead Electrical Engineer, Production Support role within the Sustaining Engineering team will work on Power generation products for both the Military and Commercial programs. You will work closely with Design, Manufacturing, Testing, and Quality engineers to ensure the production and delivery of high quality power generation products to our aviation customers. You truly will be part of the team that "Invents the future of Flight".
This position will work closely with the manufacturing team on the production floor. Onsite work is required daily at the Vandalia, OH facility.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Responsible for electronics design and engineering; designing, developing, modifying and evaluating electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment and other hardware systems.
- Determines design approaches and parameters; analyze equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental tests & evaluate results.
- Ensure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures
- Provide engineering / technical support in a production environment
- Familiar with Engineering Change (EC), Root Cause Corrective Analysis (RCCA), Cost Analysis, etc.
- Provides informal guidance to new team members
