Job Description Summary

The Contract Manager uses business, legal, financial, and operational judgment to structure, draft, review, negotiate, and administer commercial agreements with strategic and key customers across the Radiopharmaceuticals portfolio. The role partners closely with Sales, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Controllership, Pricing, and other stakeholders to develop contract solutions that support commercial objectives while protecting GE HealthCare, meeting applicable legal and policy requirements, and enabling accurate downstream implementation.

The successful candidate will be comfortable operating in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and adapting effectively to frequent change, evolving priorities, and ambiguity.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Own assigned contract matters from intake through drafting, negotiation, approval, execution, implementation handoff, amendment, renewal, and expiration, maintaining clear status, documentation, and stakeholder communication throughout the lifecycle.
  • Serve as a trusted commercial contracting partner to Sales and business leaders, helping translate customer and business objectives into practical contract solutions while appropriately managing contractual, operational, and financial risk.
  • Advise Sales and business teams on agreement structure, pricing and rebate terms, volume or purchase commitments, and site eligibility.
  • Draft and negotiate commercial contracts related to GEHC Radiopharmaceutical products.
  • Review customer templates and redlines; identify legal, financial, compliance, operational, and contracting risks; recommend positions; and obtain appropriate approvals for deviations from standard terms.
  • Partner with Legal, Compliance, Controllership, Finance, Pricing, Operations, Quality, Regulatory, and other stakeholders to confirm that proposed terms are compliant and operationally executable.
  • Coordinate the translation of executed contract terms into downstream systems and processes, including accurate pricing, customer and site eligibility, rebate mechanics, effective dates, and other implementation requirements; help resolve discrepancies that may affect orders, invoices, or payments.
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of contract assignments, proactively prioritize business-critical needs, identify blockers, escalate time-sensitive issues, and establish clear expectations when timing depends on multiple stakeholders or approval authorities.
  • Support contract governance by monitoring upcoming expirations, renewals, amendments, and required notices and by maintaining complete, accurate, and audit-ready contract records.
  • Participate in review and refinement of contracting flags, approval criteria, templates, contracting toolkit, training materials, and standard work to reflect business needs and best practices.
  • Educate Sales and cross-functional partners on contract processes, required inputs, approval pathways, negotiation principles, and the operational impact of commercial terms.
  • Contribute to Lean initiatives, including workflow standardization, self-service resources, and appropriate use of technology and automation.
  • Support special projects such as product launches or reformulations, strategic-account initiatives, RFPs, pricing changes, invoicing or rebate remediation, and other commercial priorities requiring contract expertise.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of related contract management, commercial operations, sourcing, legal operations, or comparable experience.
  • At least 3 years of direct experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts with customers or clients and managing productive stakeholder relationships.
  • Experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, life sciences, medical devices, or another regulated industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret complex contract language, identify risk and propose practical solutions.
  • Ability to understand and evaluate the downstream operational impact of contract terms, including pricing, customer eligibility, rebate administration, invoicing, system implementation, and compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex contract assignments, exercise sound judgment in prioritizing business needs, and remain organized, adaptable, and solutions-oriented in a dynamic commercial environment.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and influence effectively across functions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated negotiation and customer-service capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint, including document comparison, redline review, and disciplined version control.

Desired Characteristics

  • Experience negotiating complex service or supply agreements.
  • Experience contracting with health systems, integrated delivery networks, group purchasing organizations, distributors, government entities, or other complex customer structures.
  • Working knowledge of pharmaceutical or healthcare commercial contracting concepts and the interaction among contract terms, pricing, invoicing, rebates, customer eligibility, and financial controls.
  • Experience with contract lifecycle management tools and enterprise platforms such as Salesforce and SAP; experience improving or implementing contracting workflows is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance commercial objectives, customer needs, operational feasibility, financial considerations, and contractual risk when developing solutions.
  • Ability to work independently while knowing when to escalate, seek specialist input, or align a broader stakeholder group.
