Go Fish Digital Media/Entertainment

Integrated Media Manager

Phoenix, AZ In person Full-time

About the Role

Go Fish is seeking a Manager, Integrated Media who is first and foremost a hands-on platform operator. You will build, launch, optimize, and measure paid search, paid social, and programmatic campaigns directly in platform, with ownership of execution, performance, and reporting from day one.

You’ll own the work, serve as a primary day-to-day media contact for client stakeholders, and coach junior team members along the way. This role is ideal for an experienced practitioner ready to take ownership of a high-impact media program.

What You'll Do

Activation & Execution

  • Personally build, launch, and manage campaigns across paid search, paid social, and programmatic
  • Configure and QA all campaign settings: objectives, structure, budgets, bids, audiences, keywords, placements, creative, UTMs, conversion actions, and naming conventions
  • Diagnose and resolve delivery, disapproval, policy, and pacing issues
  • Keep documentation, optimization logs, and budget trackers current

Optimization & Performance

  • Own daily performance and pacing, and make and implement the decisions yourself: budgets, bids, search terms and negatives, audiences, frequency, placements, creative rotation, and channel allocation
  • Set performance targets and benchmarks with the client, and manage to them
  • Run a consistent optimization cadence: search-term mining, bid strategy evaluation, creative fatigue monitoring, audience refinement, and inventory and frequency management
  • Distinguish normal fluctuation from issues that need immediate action, and communicate risk, impact, and recommended response early
  • Identify where to scale winners or shift spend across channels

Measurement & Reporting

  • Own tracking integrity: validate pixels, server-side tracking, analytics, tag management, conversion actions, UTMs, and attribution settings, and partner with analytics on data-quality gaps
  • Lead recurring and ad hoc analysis that connects media performance to business outcomes
  • Turn data into clear insight: what happened, why, what it means, and what to do next
  • Keep reporting accurate and consistent across dashboards, reviews, and client conversations
  • Support lift, incrementality, and attribution studies, and recommend ways to improve measurement

Client & Collaboration

  • Lead media portions of client meetings and performance reviews, explaining results and decisions in clear business language
  • Set realistic expectations, communicate proactively, and flag risks and growth opportunities early
  • Partner with strategy, creative, analytics, organic, and web teams to connect media performance to messaging and landing-page experience
  • Contribute platform-informed input (audiences, budgets, KPIs) to media plans

Team Leadership & Development

  • Coach and oversee junior employees, with emphasis on in-platform execution quality
  • Delegate based on needs and capacity, review deliverables, and give timely feedback
  • Support onboarding, training, and development planning

What You Bring

Hands-on campaign building and optimization across paid search (Google Ads, Microsoft), paid social (Meta, Nextdoor, Linkedin, Tiktok, etc), and programmatic DSPs (StackAdapt, The Trade Desk, DV360, or similar), with strong fundamentals in account structure, keywords and negatives, bidding, audience and contextual targeting, retargeting, frequency, pacing, inventory quality, and creative trafficking.

Experience troubleshooting delivery, disapprovals, tracking, and performance issues

Strong analytical skills, with a track record of turning data into optimization decisions and client-ready insights

Working knowledge of conversion tracking and tagging (GA4, GTM, pixels, Conversions API)

Experience presenting performance and recommendations to clients and key stakeholders

Ability to manage priorities, budgets, and timelines independently, with strong attention to detail

Strong written and verbal communication

Experience guiding or mentoring junior team members

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, business, or a related field, or comparable professional experience

Experience with traditional media

  • Experience with attribution platforms, incrementality tools, or data visualization and reporting tools
  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills
  • Experience developing media plans or supporting pitches and proposals

Experience managing direct reports

Experience with media campaign management tools (ex. MediaOcean Prisma)

Relevant platform certifications
