Partner with Cloud business and commercial teams to evaluate non-standard agreement structures, proactively influence contract negotiations, and optimize financial terms. Lead the end-to-end technical accounting evaluation and documentation for strategic Cloud investments in compliance with US GAAP (ASC 321, ASC 323, and ASC 810). Collaborate with Cloud Technical Accounting, Controllership, and broader finance leadership to analyze complex terms, mitigate risks, and optimize financial statement outcomes.
Identify and drive operational efficiencies by leveraging technology, including supporting the development and deployment of guided contract review and accounting automation tools. Establish and scale accounting policies, governance frameworks, and repeatable processes to support new business models and strategic growth initiatives.
