Contribute to the electrical design and validation of future phone products with a focus on system power, charging circuitry, and digital interfaces. Perform all electrical engineering tasks related to sub-system design including: schematic capture. Circuit signal integrity simulation along with the SI team. Work with the CAD team on layout designs on multiple mediums: rigid PCB, FPC, hybrid rigid/FPC assemblies. Planning and execution of circuit validation - including functional and parametric validation.
Review and analyze validation data. Debug/resolve functional or parametric issues. Work closely with the cross-functional engineering teams to bring new designs out of the concept phase into our production cycle. Contribute to design tool enhancements or development. Including but not limited to: schematic/layout scripting tools, lab validation tools, data post-processing analysis tools, lab automation, fixture design and realization.
