Advise engineering teams on software deployment, containerization, build pipelines, and artifact verification tailored specifically for air-gapped, disconnected, and tactical edge environments. Provide authoritative design guidance across core domains including zero-trust architectures, highly availability/high reliability distributed system design, and reliable operation of core system services in challenging environments.
Serve as a trusted engineering subject matter expert, bridging complex technical discussions between internal Google teams, delivery partners, and key external stakeholders. Translate designs to functioning API definitions, code, automation scripts, and infrastructure/security configuration files (e.g., Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD security validation pipelines) to directly build, test/validate, and enforce security controls.
Work closely with the Security Assurance and Compliance teams to identify, map, implement, and maintain specific technical security controls aligned with the Information Security Manual (ISM) and Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF).
