Oversee end-to-end accounting processes for Google Payments under US GAAP, including complex global fee allocations and revenue/expense classifications across Ads, Cloud, and Hardware. Leverage SQL, AI, and workflow automation tools to modernize core accounting operations, eliminate manual tasks, and improve precision in global incentives and reporting. Collaborate with Engineering and cross-functional teams to design scalable finance infrastructure, implement robust internal controls, and mitigate operational and compliance risk.
Execute end-to-end close cycles—including contract reviews, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and flux analyses—while delivering executive-ready reporting and audit support. Advise Product, Sales, and Operations on the accounting implications of new business models, zero-to-one product rollouts, and commercial contracts to ensure operational readiness.
