Provide execution leadership on software engineering projects (resourcing, prioritization, partner team interlock, scoping). Set the technical, organizational and business strategy in partnership with technical leads and managers, outlining the team charter, 2-3 year deliverables and how this function can deliver Google Global Fleet and Google Global Infrastructure objectives. Contribute to GGF shared mission as part of the leadership team and work collectively to deliver GGF’s top objectives.
Evolve and scale key current services and systems to meet current needs and making space for future evolution of our key architecture. Establish team culture focused on engineering/product/operational excellence. Mentor and provide career management, hire and develop technical leaders. Oversee customer engagement and collaboration with strategic partners.
