The primary focus of this role is to drive the success of the Industry Managed Solutions group for GS1 Canada by working directly with subscribers while developing subject matter expertise in our full suite of products, services and the technical landscape. The incumbent is a business leader with strong technical skills and specialized in the design, development, implementation and ongoing operation of services that leverage multiple data sources.
The Solutions Engineer will be accountable for understanding, documenting and communicating our subscribers’ requirements and will actively lead in solution designing and streamlining the delivery of the solution across various departments. Additionally, the Solutions Engineer will play a lead role in ensuring that the ongoing system transformation will meet the needs of our Subscribers and the long-term product roadmaps.
