Mission Statement

Hitachi Energy is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Sales Manager to drive growth of Network Control solutions across the Middle East and Africa. The role focuses on SCADA, EMS, DMS, OMS, ADMS, Generation, Transmission and Distribution applications, building long-term customer relationships, leading strategic pursuits and closing complex utility projects. The ideal candidate must possess deep domain expertise in Network Control and utility operations and be capable of engaging utility executives, delivering compelling presentations and leading commercial negotiations.

Main Accountabilities

• Deliver order intake, revenue and profitability targets for Network Control solutions and services.
• Develop and maintain executive-level customer relationships.
• Lead opportunity qualification, pursuit strategy, offer preparation, negotiations, closure and booking.
• Drive market development across MEA and identify new opportunities.
• Coordinate with technical experts, bid managers and account teams.
• Maintain accurate forecasting, CRM reporting and business reviews.
• Support marketing and thought leadership activities.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Electrical, Electronics, Automation, Power Systems Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years within the power and energy industry.
• Minimum 7 years in Grid Automation, Power Systems or Digital Utility solution sales.
• Minimum 5 years selling Network Control solutions including SCADA, EMS, DMS/ADMS, OMS and Generation Management Systems.
• Extensive knowledge of Generation, Transmission and Distribution operations is mandatory.
• Applicants must possess direct and substantial experience in Network Control, SCADA, EMS, DMS, OMS, ADMS or closely related utility software domains.
• Applicants with non-relevant industry or product experience will not be considered.
• Proven customer-facing experience including executive presentations, solution workshops and commercial negotiations.
• Demonstrated track record closing large-scale utility digitalization projects.
• Fluency in French and English is mandatory. Arabic is highly desirable.
• Ability to conduct presentations and negotiations in French and English.
• Traveling expectancy across the Middle East and Africa.
