Humana’s Digital Health Platform (DHP) is the engineering platform behind many of Humana’s consumer digital experiences. DHP Product Engineering builds the shared pieces other Humana teams build on, including a micro-frontend catalog, accessibility tooling, and API foundations, and we build them with AI coding agents at the center of how we work. We are hiring a Lead Product Engineer to set our technical direction, keep shipping alongside the team, and help that practice take hold across the platform’s product teams.

This is a hands-on role with no direct reports. You ship production code most weeks and lead through that work. You own the technical approach to what the team builds and how it knows its products work, and you own the shared AI coding skills and tooling the team relies on. Your influence extends to the other product teams on our platform, and your team’s delivery always comes first.

How we work: Our practice is skills-driven. A skill is a set of reusable instructions that an AI agent follows for a recurring task. The practice is still emerging, and the line between product and engineering is blurring. As Lead, you set the direction of that practice and help other teams adopt it.
