  • Recruit, develop and inspire a high-performing Sales & Marketing team, while leading the hotel's marketing and launch activities in alignment with Grand Hyatt brand standards.

Post-Opening – Driving Commercial Success

Lead and optimise the hotel's commercial performance, driving revenue growth, market share and profitability across a leisure-led business mix with a strong international MICE and events portfolio.

Strengthen regional and international partnerships, secure high-value accounts and position the hotel as a preferred destination for prestigious events, government delegations and international conferences.

Collaborate with Revenue Management and other departments to optimise pricing, distribution, marketing strategies and overall business performance.

Inspire and develop a results-driven team, continuously identifying new market opportunities and contributing to the hotel's long-term success as a key member of the Leadership Committee.

  • Sound knowledge of Southern African markets alongside a deep understanding of key international source markets.
  • Experience supporting a hotel pre-opening, repositioning or commercial launch would be beneficial, although not essential.
