As an Application Consultant specializing in Edge & Network Cloud, you will utilize your applied knowledge of fundamental concepts and technologies associated with Telecom Network, Software Defined Network/NFV to deliver solutions. You will perform consulting, requirement gathering, and implementation tasks to drive business outcomes. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Perform Consulting Services: Deliver expert advice and guidance to clients on the implementation and configuration of ALM, ASM, and various virtual network functions from NEPs.
• Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and create High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents.
• Implement and Configure Solutions: Apply technical expertise to implement and configure ALM, ASM, and other solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing OSS systems.
• Integrate with OSS Systems: Work on integrating ALM, ASM, NOI with other OSS systems, depending on the solution scope, to ensure a cohesive and efficient system.
• Solution Delivery: Support the delivery of solutions, leveraging Agile methodologies and lifecycle management best practices. Key Responsibilities · 8+ years of experience in Netcool Infra · Install, configure, administer, and maintain IBM Netcool/OMNIbus infrastructure. · Manage Netcool components including ObjectServer, Probe, Gateway, and Web GUI. · Monitor the health, availability, and performance of the Netcool environment. · Perform incident, problem, and change management activities related to Netcool infrastructure. · Troubleshoot issues related to ObjectServer, probes, gateways, event flow, and connectivity. · Configure and maintain Netcool probes and gateways for integration with upstream monitoring systems. · Manage ObjectServer databases, including configuration, maintenance, synchronization, and troubleshooting. · Support high-availability (HA) and failover configurations for Netcool components. · Monitor event flow and investigate event loss, duplication, delays, or incorrect event correlation. · Perform system upgrades, patches, configuration changes, and infrastructure migrations. · Analyze application and system logs to identify and resolve infrastructure issues. · Work with Linux/Unix teams for OS-level troubleshooting, performance tuning, filesystem, process, and service-related issues. · Support integrations between Netcool and external systems such as monitoring tools, ticketing platforms, and ITSM solutions. · Develop and maintain operational scripts using Shell scripting or similar technologies where required.
• Telecom Network Architecture: Exposure to designing and implementing telecom network architectures, including Software Defined Network and NFV, to support solution delivery.
• Advanced ALM and ASM: Experience with advanced implementation and configuration of ALM and ASM, including integration with other OSS systems.
• Virtual Network Functionality: Familiarity with implementing and configuring various virtual network functions from Network Equipment Providers (NEPs) in telecom networks.
