Technical Support Engineer

Chennai, India In person Full-time

We are seeking a skilled Mid-Level Technical Support Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience in RCM, healthcare, or BPO-oriented organizations. Based in Chennai, you will provide expert support and troubleshooting for IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless service delivery and SLA compliance for our cybersecurity and healthcare clients. Candidates must be willing to work in rotational shifts.

Requirements

  • Support Windows, Linux (Ubuntu/Kali), and MacOS environments.
  • Troubleshoot LAN/WAN/VPN/Wi-Fi and endpoint connectivity.
  • Operate ITSM tools (Fresh service, ManageEngine).
  • Assist with onboarding/offboarding and HRMS coordination.
  • Support virtualized environments (VMware ESXi).
  • Collaborate on cybersecurity operations (firewalls, endpoint protection, VPN).
  • Document SOPs and user guides.
  • Provide rotational shift support and occasional travel.
  • Basic scripting/automationExposure to healthcare IT or RCM environment

Requirements

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Windows Server Administration
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 Administration (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
  • Active Directory and Azure Entra ID Administration
  • User Access Management and Identity Management
  • Networking fundamentals and troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, VPN, Routing, Switching)
  • Endpoint Management and Patch Management
  • Hardware and Software Troubleshooting
  • IT Asset Management and Lifecycle Management
  • Experience with ITSM/Ticketing Tools (ServiceDesk Plus, Freshservice, Jira Service Management, ServiceNow, etc.)
  • Remote Support and Troubleshooting Tools
  • Antivirus/EDR Management and Endpoint Security

Basic Firewall and Network Security Administration

  • Backup and Recovery Fundamentals
  • Cloud Fundamentals (Microsoft Azure and/or AWS)
  • PowerShell or basic scripting knowledge
  • Knowledge of IT Security Best Practices

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Microsoft Intune or Endpoint Manager
  • Familiarity with Fortinet, Sophos, Palo Alto, or similar security solutions
  • Understanding of SSO, MFA, SAML, OAuth, and Identity Security
  • Knowledge of Virtualization Technologies (VMware/Hyper-V)
  • Experience supporting compliance requirements such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, or HITRUST
  • Exposure to SIEM and Security Monitoring tools
