GCP Java Developer

We are looking for experienced GCP / Java Developers with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, REST API development, microservices architecture, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate should have experience developing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-native applications using GCP services, Docker, and Kubernetes.

The candidate should possess strong programming, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build scalable, secure, reliable, and high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices-based applications.
• Build scalable and reliable cloud-native applications using Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot applications on GCP services such as Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and Cloud Run.
• Work with GCP services, including Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL, and Cloud Storage, to support application integration, messaging, database operations, and file storage.
• Containerize applications using Docker and deploy them using Kubernetes.
• Implement application integrations with internal and external systems through REST APIs and cloud services.
• Work with relational databases and perform database operations, query optimization, and data persistence using Cloud SQL.
• Implement asynchronous communication and event-driven processing using Google Cloud Pub/Sub.
• Manage application configurations, deployments, logs, and runtime issues in cloud environments.
• Troubleshoot application defects, performance bottlenecks, deployment failures, and production issues.
• Follow coding standards, development best practices, and secure coding principles.
• Collaborate with architects, DevOps engineers, QA teams, and other developers to deliver high-quality software.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and continuous improvement activities.
• Contribute to application scalability, availability, maintainability, and overall system performance.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot.
• Practical experience developing REST APIs and microservices.
• Working knowledge of GCP services, preferably GKE, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL, and Cloud Storage.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong analytical, debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
