Project Manager

We are looking for a confident and meticulous Project Manager to join our team. This role will support the leadership by ensuring that various projects stay on track, within budget, and oversee their successful execution. The ideal candidate has strong organisational and time management skills and is able to manage and mitigate risks within projects. The role is central to the success of almost everything we build and deliver and will therefore have a proven track record of delivering projects to timeline and budget.

The Project Manager will be a proactive, self-driven and versatile lead, who can multi-task, motivate teams and report back to leadership on progress and risks in a timely manner. The person needs to be self-disciplined, punctual, sincere and conduct oneself in a professional manner.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Define Project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Develop a comprehensive Project Plan, create a roadmap, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Lead the projects throughout the project lifecycle and motivate teams to ensure quality output is delivered by incorporating checks and controls.
• Monitor project progress Vs the plan, identifying and addressing any deviations and mitigate any issues proactively.
• Facilitate communication by maintaining open channels between various teams and stakeholders in a timely and effective manner.
• Regular MIS and reports to stakeholders and senior leadership on progress, potential risks and challenges on a regular basis.
• Proactively identify (including RCA) and mitigate potential risks, address concerns and resolve any issues that arise. Where necessary, change course and make adjustments to adapt to changing priorities or in order to mitigate risks.
• Capture and document key learnings from projects and implement relevant learnings for current and future projects.
• Identify and implement process improvements. Ensure proper documentation is in place for all processes and projects.
• Assist and organise company-wide product and progress meetings, facilitate knowledge sharing sessions and workshops.
• Any other general business related work assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Computer Science, Management, Business)
• Preferred 2+ years of experience as a project lead or manager or a lead business analyst/tester/developer in various projects or in a similar role.
• Strong problem-solving ability, excellent communication (be able to communicate effectively with people at all levels and backgrounds) and interpersonal skills, and an ability to think on their feet to find quick resolutions.
• Strong organisational and time management skills, and the ability to manage and complete multiple tasks. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and circumstances.
• Proficient in project management methodologies and good experience of project management tools and software. Have good understanding of software development lifecycle.
• PMP or other relevant project management certifications a plus
