Do you want to develop world-class skills, build a brilliant career, and thrive within a highly supportive team? Join Inchcape Belux, part of Inchcape’s global network.
You’ll play a key part in growing a global business that’s transforming our industry, working with the world’s leading automotive brands, and delivering great experiences for our customers.
Our Operations Support team is looking for a Head of Field Dealer Support to strengthen our support towards the Toyota and Lexus dealer network.
In this role, you will take ownership of a dedicated portfolio of dealers, primarily in Flanders, helping them improve their Aftersales performance, profitability and operational effectiveness. You will translate broader Aftersales and OEM priorities into concrete actions for your dealer portfolio and work closely with dealers to identify opportunities, address performance gaps and drive improvement.
What you’ll do
Act as a key business partner for your dedicated dealer portfolio, building strong relationships and supporting dealers in improving their Aftersales performance and profitability.
Analyse dealer performance and identify gaps, priorities and business opportunities, translating these into concrete dealer action plans.
Define, implement and follow up priorities and initiatives for your geographical scope, in line with the broader Field Dealer Support and Aftersales framework.
Translate OEM objectives and programmes into actionable priorities for the dealer network and support dealers in their implementation.
Guide dealers in applying and improving Aftersales processes and service-management programmes, evaluating their current status and following up agreed improvement actions.
Train and coach dealers on programmes, processes and tools, ensuring they understand requirements and can successfully implement them.
Conduct and follow up dealer audits, translating findings into practical improvement plans.
Support the onboarding and development of dealers within the network.
Act as a specialist for relevant dealer service and connected-car tools, gathering dealer needs and supporting their effective implementation and use.
Monitor relevant KPIs and performance dashboards, analyse the results and engage dealers on the actions needed to improve performance.
Work closely with internal teams, the OEM and external partners to resolve dealer issues and ensure effective implementation of initiatives.
Bring feedback and insights from your dealer portfolio into the wider Field Dealer Support approach, helping continuously improve the support we provide to the network.
The original role explicitly covers dealer profitability, OEM service-management processes, dealer training and action plans, dealer service tools, connected-car tools, KPI follow-up, audits and stakeholder management. The future operating model adds greater geographical ownership and expects the role to identify performance gaps, determine priorities and drive dealer action plans autonomously within its scope.
About you
To be successful in this role you will be
- Commercially minded, with a strong understanding of how Aftersales operations can contribute to dealer performance and profitability.
- Comfortable building trusted, constructive relationships with a diverse group of dealers and stakeholders.
- Able to combine data and business insight to identify performance gaps and turn them into practical actions.
- Proactive and autonomous, comfortable setting priorities and driving actions within your area of responsibility.
- Strong at influencing others and bringing stakeholders together, even without formal hierarchical authority.
- Comfortable working across different topics, from dealer performance and processes to programmes, tools and implementation.
- Structured and solution-oriented, with the ability to follow actions through to completion.
- Confident working with KPIs, performance reporting and business data.
- A collaborative team player who enjoys sharing insights and contributing to the wider development of Field Dealer Support.
- Comfortable travelling regularly to dealerships within your assigned region.
