PRICING ANALYST (REVENUE MANAGEMENT) Industrious is the largest premium flexible workspace company in the world, operating over 250 locations across 10 countries as part of the CBRE portfolio.
We design workplaces where teams feel welcomed, supported, and able to do their best work. The same principle guides how we work together as a company. ABOUT THE ROLE Right now, the pricing judgment for Industrious's existing North America private office portfolio sits with one person who has built deep expertise in it: knowing which renewals need a bump, which office needs a promotion instead of a price cut, and which market is quietly slipping.
That person is moving on to bigger things, and we need someone to step into that seat, formalize what works, and keep roughly 200 price changes a month running accurately, on time, and grounded in real conversations with the General Managers who run our buildings. This is a Pricing Analyst, Revenue Management role, reporting into the pricing team. You will own business-as-usual pricing execution for the existing North America private office portfolio, with the scope to grow into other products and regions as the team expands.
WHAT MIGHT YOUR DAY LOOK LIKE You start the morning scanning the pricing dashboard and notice a suite at 1411 Broadway that hasn't sold in weeks, while the identical suite next door is occupied at full list price. The GM has asked for a price cut. You pull the tour and application data, see it's a single-unit problem rather than a market problem, and decide a one-month promotion makes more sense than dropping the list price and setting up a harder renewal conversation down the road.
By mid-morning, you are on the phone with a GM in Nashville, walking through why an entire category of seven-to-nine person offices isn't moving. You ask about tour volume, application quality, and whether the floor plans still fit what people are searching for. You leave the call with a plan, and the GM leaves it feeling like someone actually looked at their building, not just their numbers. In the afternoon, you work through the week's renewal batch, running each one against the pricing logic the team uses to decide what gets pushed through and what needs a second look.
You flag one segment where occupancy has slipped two months running, log it for deeper review, and jot down a note on the decision tree so the next person doesn't have to relearn it from scratch. You close the day updating the system with the changes you've made, checking your numbers against the portfolio report, and sending a short note to your manager on the one call that needs a decision above your pay grade. WHAT YOU WILL OWN - Execute accurate, on-schedule pricing changes across roughly 200 price adjustments a month on the existing portfolio - Diagnose underperforming units or segments through variance analysis and turn findings into concrete pricing recommendations - Build direct, trusted relationships with General Managers as their first call on pricing, not a name behind a ticket - Run the renewal process end to end, from sending renewals to recommending pricing based on account and market performance - Evaluate the return on past promotional campaigns to shape smarter promotional decisions going forward - Keep pricing platforms, algorithms, and databases configured and accurate as the portfolio and product line grow - Document pricing logic and decision processes so institutional knowledge stops living in one person's head - Report on key revenue metrics, including Price/Seat, Occupancy, and RevPAR, for commercial leadership This role leans on Problem Solving, because variance analysis only matters if you can turn a pattern in the data into a clear recommendation.
It leans just as heavily on Communication, because the GMs you work with need to hear from a real person, not just see a system update. And it runs on Ownership and Bias for Action: at 200 changes a month, you move decisions forward with the information you have rather than waiting for certainty. YOU WILL LOVE THIS ROLE IF - You love picking up the phone to talk through a tough pricing call instead of hiding behind a ticket update - You are energized by spotting the one underperforming unit before it shows up as a bigger problem in next quarter's numbers - You thrive on owning a defined piece of the business from day one, not waiting to be handed permission - You love turning ambiguous situations, like a single unit that won't sell, into a clear, defensible recommendation - You are comfortable moving through many decisions in a week without needing every signal to be perfectly clean - You thrive when your work is visible immediately to the people in the field who depend on it THIS ROLE IS PROBABLY NOT FOR YOU IF - You want a long ramp-up before owning real decisions: this role hands you live pricing calls from week one - You would rather analyze quietly than get on the phone with a GM to talk through a hard pricing conversation - You are looking to build pricing models and algorithms from scratch: the frameworks already exist, and the job is to execute, refine, and document them - You need every process fully written down before you start: a lot of this knowledge currently lives in one person's experience, and part of the job is writing it down as you go - You want a role that stays narrowly scoped forever: this one is expected to grow beyond North America private office into new products and regions over time WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR - A track record analyzing data to recommend pricing changes, working through problems independently with moderate guidance - Experience running variance or deep-dive analysis to identify underperforming segments and translate findings into action - Comfort configuring and maintaining pricing systems, algorithms, or databases, not just reading from them - Demonstrated ease building relationships with operational stakeholders, with a real preference for direct conversation over purely desk-based analysis - A background in a dynamic, demand-based pricing environment such as hospitality, hotels, or cruise lines, or experience with subscription-style renewal pricing, is a genuine plus COMPENSATION & BENEFITS The base salary for this role is $80,000 to $85,000, depending on experience, skills, and role alignment.
This role is also eligible for an annual bonus and participation in our long term incentive program. At Industrious, we believe a good workplace supports the whole person. Our benefits include: - Heavily subsidized medical, dental, and vision plans to support you and your family - Flexible paid time off, to maintain balance - Paid parental leave to help you welcome a new child and focus on what matters most - Annual professional development grants so you can keep learning and growing - 401(k) retirement savings program to support long-term financial wellbeing - Wellness initiatives and additional employee support programs Specific benefits may vary by role, location, and eligibility requirements.
