Who are we?
Jenbacher Gas Engines manufactures gas-fired reciprocating engines, generator sets, combined heat and power units and accessories for power generation and compressors. Each of these contributes to more efficient and cost-effective on-site power generation. Our engines, with a power range from 330 kW to 10 MW, run on a flexible range of fuels, including natural gas, as well as biogas, landfill gas, mine gas, sewage gas and industrial waste gases. The systems are supported by service throughout their entire lifespan, including remote monitoring and diagnostics. The Jenbacher Gas Engines factory, part of INNIO, is located in Jenbach, Austria.
What do we do?
We sell combined heat and power units, provide project support during the construction of turnkey projects at customer sites and, following handover of the installation to the customer, carry out maintenance on the engines throughout their entire service life.
Within the Project Management team, we are responsible for the commercial and technical execution of projects (new installations, overhauls, relocations, upgrades and extensive modifications to installations). By working closely with the (Service) Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance and Field Service departments, we ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards of customer satisfaction.
Our Nordic Project Management department currently consists of seven staff members, one of whom is based in Denmark and will now be supported by you.
What are you going to do?
Lead customer projects from order booking through successful handover
Coordinate cross-functional teams across technical and commercial disciplines
Manage project schedules, costs, risks, claims and payment milestones
Drive customer satisfaction through proactive communication and execution excellence
Support continuous development of the Project Management Process and Tools based on KPI’s such as revenue, contribution margin, customer satisfaction, complete and on-time delivery, finished goods inventory, and collections.
Who are you?
Preferably Technical education (e.g. Engineering Bachelor, Danish Marine Engineer or equivalent technical qualification)
Preferably experience in project management, ideally within energy, industrial equipment or reciprocating engines . Also Junior Project Managers are encouraged to apply.
Strong commercial understanding and customer focus
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Fluent in Danish and English
Team player with a hands-on, solution-oriented mindset
Located within commuting distance of our Hinnerup office
Willingness to travel ~ 20%
