About the role

As a Senior AI Architect at Insight, you will work in a fast-paced, highly-skilled team developing state-of-the-art enterprise solutions using a wide variety of artificial intelligence technologies. You will work directly with customers, engineers, sales teams, and partners to deliver high-quality professional service engagements to Insight’s customers. Insight is a premier partner of Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and as such, your implementations will focus on enabling customers to best utilize GCP or to demonstrate its capabilities.

Your primary and most critical responsibility will be designing, tuning, and deploying

next-generation conversational experience using Gemini Enterprise for Customer Experience (GECX): CX Agent Studio, Agent Assist, CX Insights, Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS). While foundational background in Google’s legacy platforms (Contact Center AI, Dialogflow CX, and Conversational Insights) provides valuable context, this role requires direct expertise in GECX architecture. Secondarily, you will also build and support the broader cloud-native artificial intelligence infrastructure using Google’s Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform (GEAP) and related technologies, such as Gemini foundation models, Agent Development Kit (ADK), Agent Studio, and Vector Search.

This is a hands-on, senior position that demands deep domain expertise in conversational interfaces and advanced search architecture alongside full-stack agentic engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Implementing customer experience, commerce search, enterprise discovery, and
• agent-based solutions for Insight clients across all project stages, from discovery and architecture to development, testing, and launch.
• Providing senior-level subject matter expertise and technical leadership to Insight clients and colleagues on GECX v2 architectures, Agent Assist workflows, CX analytics, cognitive retail search, and agentic automation.
• Guiding enterprise clients through the architectural transition from legacy intent-driven bots (Dialogflow CX / CCAI) to GECX Gemini-native generative playbooks and multi-agent flows.
• Providing senior-level subject matter expertise and technical leadership to Insight clients and colleagues on conversational AI, cognitive retail search, and agentic automation.
• Collaborating directly with client stakeholders managing the project, including other engineers and Director-level client resources.
• Creating robust technical documentation, architectural diagrams, and leading solution design discussions.
• Assisting with technical pre-sales discussions, scoping exercises, and the creation of detailed statements of work.

What we’re looking for

4+ years of relevant work experience in technical consulting, software development, or cloud engineering.

2+ years of relevant work experience designing, tuning, and implementing production-grade conversational AI, intelligent search, and customer experience workloads, specifically utilizing Gemini Enterprise for Customer Experience (GECX)

Demonstrated experience architecting and executing transitions from legacy intent-based conversational solutions (Dialogflow CX, Contact Center AI / CCAI) to Gemini-native, generative playbook architectures using GECX.

AI-Assisted Engineering: Hands-on experience leveraging modern AI code generation assistants and agentic IDE tooling, specifically GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, and Google Antigravity, to accelerate technical delivery, automate boilerplate development, and optimize the broader application execution loop.

Demonstrated experience building secondary Generative AI solutions, including the use of large language models, model fine-tuning, vector embeddings, and AI application frameworks to build retrieval augmented generation (RAG) and multimodal workloads on Google Cloud.

Proven experience implementing enterprise platform governance, security, and data boundaries using Agent Gateway, Agent Identity, and real-time compliance via Agent Guard / Model Armor.

Hands-on experience implementing long-term context retention and multi-turn

persistence in conversational and retail environments using Google's Memory Bank architecture.

Experience designing and implementing serverless and containerized solutions on common deployment runtimes, preferably Cloud Run, Google Kubernetes Engine, or Agent Runtime on Google Cloud Platform.
