Head of Fund Operations (Dublin)

Insight Investment is looking for a Head of Fund Operations to join the Fund Accounting team in Dublin. The Head of Fund Operations will lead the Fund Operations function, ensuring the effective oversight and delivery of operational services supporting the firm's fund range. The role holder will provide strategic leadership across fund accounting, transfer agency, custody oversight, ETF fund operations, investor tax reporting, and related fund operational activities.

You will drive operational excellence, scalability, and control improvements to support business growth and evolving product structures. Role Responsibilities Own the operational framework supporting pooled funds and ETF products Maintain oversight of outsourced service providers, including fund administrators, custodians, transfer agents, auditors and external tax advisors, ensuring service quality, regulatory compliance and effective risk management Lead operational change initiatives, including new fund launches, operational model enhancements, system implementations, and service provider transitions Act as a senior escalation point for operational issues, incidents and regulatory matters affecting funds and clients Ensure robust governance through operational committees, service reviews, due diligence programmes, and control monitoring Being a member of various committees through the business including but not limited to the valuation committee, fund governance, product oversight and Manco operational risk management group Partner with Portfolio Management, Product, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Capital Markets and Distribution teams to support business objectives Lead and develop a team of Fund operational professionals, promoting a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and client focus Represent Fund Operations in Board, executive and client-facing discussions where required Experience Required Significant leadership experience within fund operations, fund administration, asset management or another complex financial services environment Proven experience leading managers and developing high-performing teams across multiple operational disciplines.

Strong knowledge of pooled fund and ETF operations, including fund accounting, transfer agency, custody, valuations and associated oversight arrangements Product knowledge of ETF, money market and LDI asset classes would be an advantage Demonstrable experience overseeing outsourced service providers, with a strong understanding of service governance, operational risk, controls and regulatory requirements The credibility and technical judgement to coach experienced operational professionals and resolve complex fund, client and service-provider issues Experience leading operational change, including new fund launches, operating model enhancements, system implementations or service-provider transitions A strong process and systems mindset, with a track record of improving controls, automation, scalability and operational efficiency Experience partnering with Product, Portfolio Management, Technology, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Capital Markets and Distribution teams Strong commercial judgement, with the ability to balance client outcomes, operational quality, risk management and efficiency Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including the ability to influence senior leaders, governance committees, boards and external providers A proactive ownership mindset, with the resilience and judgement to manage escalations, solve complex operational problems and deliver through change Insight is committed to being an inclusive employer and encourages applications from all suitably qualified applicants irrespective of background, circumstances, age, disability, gender identity, ethnicity, religion or belief, sexual orientation or other factors protected by federal, state and/or local laws.
