The Role
Join us as a Senior Network Security Consultant / Architect
We are looking for an experienced Network Security Consultant / Architect who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and working closely with customers to build secure, resilient network environments.
This is not a purely architectural role. We are looking for someone who can move comfortably between architecture, design and hands-on implementation, whether that means designing a new network security architecture, migrating firewall environments or troubleshooting a complex customer issue.
You will work across different customer environments and be trusted to take technical ownership, advise stakeholders and turn requirements into solutions that work in practice.
What you’ll be doing
Depending on the customer and assignment, you will
- Design and implement secure enterprise network architectures
- Work hands-on with Cisco Networks, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet/FortiGate and related security technologies
- Design and perform firewall migrations and security improvements
- Implement network segmentation and micro-segmentation
- Support OT network segmentation and security
- Design Zero Trust network architectures
- Work with routing, switching, VPN and secure remote access
- Troubleshoot complex network and security issues
- Design hybrid and cloud-connected network environments
- Perform network hardening and security improvements
- Produce clear technical designs and documentation
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers
- In short, you should be comfortable taking an engagement from:
- Requirements → Architecture → Design → Implementation → Troubleshooting → Documentation
What we’re looking for
We believe you have several years of experience within enterprise networking and network security, ideally 7+ years, and that you are comfortable working independently in complex customer environments.
You have strong experience in several of the following
Palo Alto Networks, including NGFW, Panorama and VPN
Fortinet / FortiGate
- Enterprise network security
- Firewall architecture, implementation and migration
- Network segmentation and micro-segmentation
- Routing and switching
- VPN and remote access
- Network troubleshooting and performance
- Security architecture and solution design
- Network hardening
- Hybrid/cloud networking
- Nice to have
- Experience with any of the following is a strong advantage:
- Zscaler, SASE or SSE
Prisma Access
- Microsoft Azure networking and security
- AWS networking and security
- Cisco networking
F5
SD-WAN
- OT security
- Regulated or critical infrastructure environments
- Certifications such as PCNSE, Fortinet certifications, CCNP/CCIE Security, Azure or AWS certifications are valuable, but practical experience and technical depth matter most.
- The kind of person we think will thrive
- You enjoy being close to the technology and solving difficult problems, but you can also step back, understand the bigger picture and explain your recommendations to customers.
- You don't want to choose between being an engineer and an architect. You want to be able to do both.
- If that sounds like you, we’d like to hear from you.
