Software Engineer

Location: Bangalore, India

We are looking for a skilled Power BI Developer with 3+ years of experience in business intelligence, data visualization, and analytics. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Power BI development and a working knowledge of Databricks to support modern data engineering and reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Gather and translate business requirements into effective analytics solutions.
• Develop data models, DAX measures, and Power Query transformations.
• Connect and integrate data from multiple sources, including Databricks, SQL databases, and cloud platforms.
• Optimize report performance and ensure data accuracy and quality.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and project teams to deliver actionable insights.
• Support report deployment, enhancements, troubleshooting, and user adoption.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI development.
• Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
• Experience with SQL and data warehousing concepts.
• Working knowledge of Databricks, including data exploration and integration with Power BI.
• Understanding of ETL processes and cloud-based data platforms.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure Data Services (ADLS, Azure SQL, Synapse).
• Knowledge of Python or Spark in Databricks.
• Exposure to Agile delivery methodologies.
