We are searching for the best talent for Transcend: Transformation Director!

This hybrid position will be located in Horsham, Pennsylvania (USA). Alternate hybrid locations may be considered at other Innovative Medicine Supply Chain (IMSC) hub locations such as: Titusville, New Jersey (USA) and Beerse, Belgium.

Transcend is a global business transformation program that will modernize our foundational transactional processes and harmonize them into one “clean” ERP as a standardized platform for growth and efficiency gains. This program will simplify the Pharmaceutical ERP landscape from 7 to 1, standardizing processes to have a cost-effective, fit-for-purpose digital backbone that will enable us to support the Pharmaceutical business with agility. Additionally, the program will remediate the end-of-life system exposure that we risk towards the end of this decade.

The IM Transcend Transformation Director will lead high-impact, cross-functional process simplification and performance improvement initiatives in support of the Transcend transformation. Working across Commercial, R&D, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, and Global Services, this role will turn complex end-to-end business challenges into standardized, measurable, and sustainable ways of working. The role will partner with business process owners and functional leaders to remove waste, reduce variation, improve decision quality and speed, and strengthen the processes, data, and operating efficiencyrequired to realize Transcend value.

The Director will enable Transcend to move from technology deployment to business-led transformation by improving end-to-end processes, strengthening functional accountability, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement. This role will ensure solutions address root causes, deliver quantified business outcomes, and can be sustained after implementation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead end-to-end improvement: Apply DMAIC, Lean, and systems-thinking methods to diagnose and improve priority value streams across functions.

Simplify and standardize: Eliminate non-value-added work, unnecessary handoffs, duplicate controls, and local process variation while protecting patient safety, quality, compliance, and business continuity.

Translate strategy into execution: Convert transformation objectives and capability roadmaps into clearly scoped improvement portfolios, charters, achievements, and measurable outcomes.

Use data to drive decisions: Establish reliable baselines, analyze process performance, identify root causes, and develop practical control plans, dashboards, and leading indicators.

Quantify and validate value: Partner with Finance and functional owners to define benefit hypotheses, validate assumptions, and track productivity, cost, cash, working capital, service, quality, and risk outcomes.

Design for the future state: Ensure process improvements align with global templates, clean-core principles, data standards, automation, and digital or AI-enabled capabilities.

Facilitate cross-functional decisions: Lead workshops that clarify process ownership, decision rights, dependencies, trade-offs, and issue paths across functions.

Enable adoption and sustainment: Build standard work, governance, capability, and control mechanisms so improvements endure beyond implementation and release.

Build organizational capability: Coach Green Belts, process owners, and project teams; strengthen problem-solving, process management, and continuous-improvement skills.

Provide transparent governance: Communicate progress, risks, decisions, and value realization to senior stakeholders through concise, fact-based updates.
