JPMorgan Chase Finance/FinTech

Digital Planning & Advice Associate

New York City, NY In person Full-time

Role Overview

The Digital Planning and Advice team is seeking a highly organized, versatile team member to play a critical role in advancing our Planning and Advice Transformation — modernizing how advisors deliver planning and advice through a unified, digitally-enabled experience. Serving as a utility player, this person will contribute to digitizing new planning capabilities, supporting the evolution of a unified planning system, and working cross-functionally across Tech, Product, and Business partners.

The ideal candidate brings structured problem-solving skills, a hypothesis-driven mindset, and the ability to bring clarity to ambiguous, fast-moving transformation workstreams. They blend digital product fluency with a working knowledge of financial planning concepts and thrive in a multi-tool, multi-stakeholder environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Play a central role in the Planning and Advice Transformation, helping advance the strategy, roadmap, and execution of a modernized, digitally-enabled planning experience for advisors.
  • Support digital product initiatives across the Planning and Advice portfolio, contributing to a range of advisor-facing planning and advice capabilities.
  • Structure and drive transformation workstreams from problem framing through execution, bringing clarity and pace to complex, cross-functional efforts.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Technology, Product, and Business teams to advance the roadmap for a unified planning system.
  • Assist in the digitization of new planning tools for advisors, from requirements gathering through launch and adoption.
  • Synthesize information from multiple sources into clear recommendations, frameworks, and decision-ready materials for leadership.
  • Support advisor enablement efforts including training materials, communications, and feedback loops tied to the transformation agenda.
  • Contribute to executive-level updates and reporting, including input into weekly leadership updates on Planning and Advice Transformation progress.
  • Act as a utility player — flexing across transformation initiatives as priorities evolve and plugging in where the team needs capacity most.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in wealth management, private banking, or financial advisory services
  • Background in strategy, transformation, or advisory-type roles that required managing multiple client or stakeholder engagements simultaneously
  • Exposure to industry financial planning software platforms
  • Prior experience supporting advisor-facing digital tools or workflows
  • Familiarity with executive reporting and status communication cadences
