Unleash your expertise in product development and optimization by leveraging user research, analyzing metrics, and collaborating across one of the world’s most innovative financial organizations.
As a Senior Product Associate in Deposits 2.0 AI Enablement, you contribute to the team by leveraging your expertise in product development and optimization to make a significant impact, supported by user research and customer feedback to fuel the creation of innovative products and continuously improve existing offerings. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products and ongoing success.
The AI Specialist (Associate) is a core execution role on the Deposits 2.0 AI Enablement team, a lean, hands-on function charged with accelerating product delivery with AI, making Deposits 2.0 agentic ready, and establishing the new operating model for AI ways of working. Specialists work fluidly across all of these priorities, owning workstreams and helping solve real problems that matter to Deposits 2.0. We are looking for team members with financial services domain knowledge and hands-on AI experience. Team members must be naturally curious, wildly collaborative, serious problem solvers, and beyond hard working.
Job responsibilities
Partners with the Product Manager to identify new product opportunities that reflect the needs of our customers and the market through user research and discovery
Considers and plans for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experience
Supports the collection of user research, journey mapping, and market analysis to inform the strategic product roadmap and provide insight on potential product features that provide value to customers
Analyzes, tracks, and evaluates product metrics including work to time, cost, and quality targets across the product development life cycle
Writes the requirements, epics, and user stories to support product development
Applies AI to help solve Deposits 2.0’s hardest problems, working alongside the AI Enablement team and partners across the bank to deliver practical outputs such as current and target state assessments, discovery enablement, working solutions, or knowledge base updates
Designs and builds AI agents and skills that embed AI across the product delivery lifecycle, partnering with the Technical Lead and borrowed engineering resources, and shares what is learned so the teams’ way of working improves
Contributes to making Deposits 2.0 agentic ready by gathering input from bank experts, documenting gaps and design principles, and drafting the standards that product and engineering teams will use
Improves the Deposits 2.0 knowledge base by raising the quality of the inputs that feed the AI framework, following the firm’s data and controls processes without exception
Tests new ways of working with AI embedded in team workflows, including more efficient alternatives to the traditional workshop, while supporting training, adoption, and change and guiding teammates and peers where appropriate
Plans, tracks, and communicates progress by maintaining delivery plans, tracking value derived versus expected, prioritizing across multiple tasks and stakeholders, and raising it early when timelines or quality are at risk
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle
Experience in product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition
Developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy
Bachelor’s degree in a related area of study, with financial services experience (ideally in consumer banking) and hands-on AI experience, including agentic AI frameworks and large language models
Naturally curious, with the drive to learn everything and the discipline to do it intentionally: starts learning without being asked, chooses what to learn next based on what the work needs, and actively seeks specific feedback and applies it visibly
Highly collaborative: listens to understand, tests assumptions with questions, makes space for quieter voices, builds on the work of others, and delivers through teams you do not manage
Customer focused: keeps the Chase customer and the bank at the center of the work and anticipates the needs of the teams who will use what is built
Understanding of related domains, including data, architecture, product, design, risk, and operations, well enough to partner credibly and respect their constraints
Sound judgment built on first principles: reasons from underlying principles and recognizes recurring patterns to make the right call, including knowing when AI is the right tool, and has the vulnerability to say “I don’t know” and ask for help
Clear communication and ownership: confirms shared understanding early, speaks up with facts and options, keeps commitments, and owns mistakes promptly
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
