At JPMorganChase, we are building something rare: a mobile-first digital bank designed for the way people actually live and manage their money. Our International Consumer Bank is expanding into new markets with a bold vision — and we are looking for exceptional marketing leaders to bring that vision to life locally. This is a career-defining opportunity to build a brand from the ground up in a new market, with the backing of a global institution and the agility of a digital challenger.
As Head of Marketing at JPMorganChase within the International Consumer Bank in Spain, you will serve as the senior marketing leader for the market — accountable for brand strategy, campaign planning, creative execution, and investment management across the full customer funnel. You will work at the intersection of global brand standards and local market insight, partnering closely with Growth, Lifecycle, Product, and Customer Engagement teams to build awareness, drive consideration, and convert interest into lasting customer relationships. Your work will directly shape how people in Spain discover, choose, and engage with our brand.
Job responsibilities
- Define and lead the local marketing strategy for Spain, encompassing brand, product marketing, advertising, communications, and partnership marketing — aligned to the global International Consumer marketing organization
- Lead the full campaign planning cycle, coordinating across marketing, product, research, insight, and design teams, as well as external brand, communications, and media agency partners
- Prepare, manage, and optimize monthly, quarterly, and annual marketing investment plans, working closely with the local Growth and Lifecycle Lead to maximize budget efficiency and funnel performance
- Develop and track marketing objectives and key results across brand awareness, engagement, conversion, and customer deepening — cascading goals clearly across the team and reporting progress to senior stakeholders
- Support the development and local activation of branding, positioning, and pricing strategies, ensuring brand message consistency across all channels and customer touchpoints
- Partner with Insight and Research teams to deepen understanding of customer personas and segments, managing research briefs across creative, communications, and qualitative or quantitative data requirements
- Ensure all brand and campaign activity is rigorously tracked, reported, and continuously optimized — driving measurable improvement in performance and return on investment
- Lead partnership marketing strategy and support partner-led marketing initiatives that extend reach and build brand credibility in the local market
- Monitor the competitive landscape — including acquisitions, pricing changes, and new product launches — and translate findings into actionable strategic recommendations
- Collaborate across the firmwide marketing, brand, and communications organization to align local execution with global standards and share learnings across markets
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on marketing concepts and extensive years of applied experience
- Proven experience in a senior marketing leadership role — such as Head of Marketing or equivalent — within consumer financial services, fintech, or a high-growth technology or scale-up business
- Demonstrated experience managing multi-million euro brand advertising and acquisition budgets with accountability for performance outcomes
- Established expertise in brand strategy and management, with strong depth across digital channels, performance marketing, and integrated campaign planning
- Solid knowledge of brand tracking methodologies, campaign analytics, and reporting dashboards — with the ability to translate data into clear optimization decisions
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to set priorities, align cross-functional teams, and develop talent in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and external partners with clarity and confidence
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience launching or scaling a new consumer brand or financial product in Spain
- Familiarity with regulated financial services marketing, including consent, privacy, and compliance requirements in a European context
- Experience leading partnership marketing programs and managing co-marketing relationships with external organizations
- Proficiency in the local language of Spanish, enabling effective engagement with local agency partners, research vendors, and market stakeholders
- Advanced degree (MSc or equivalent) in Marketing, Business, or a related field
