Job responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks (UI, API, integration, regression).
Create and execute automated test suites aligned to product requirements, risk, and release timelines.
Partner with developers, product owners, and QA to define acceptance criteria and test strategies early in the SDLC, and contribute targeted frontend and backend code changes that improve accessibility, testability, and automated coverage.
Perform and document desk checks (e.g., peer review of test cases/automation code, requirements walkthroughs, defect prevention reviews) to catch issues early.
Support ADA / accessibility testing by validating accessibility requirements and integrating accessibility checks into QA workflows where possible; collaborate on remediation of accessible UI components, semantic markup, keyboard interactions, and focus management.
Analyze test failures, troubleshoot root causes across frontend components, backend services, APIs, and data flows, and drive defects to resolution with clear reproduction steps and evidence.
Improve CI/CD quality gates by integrating automated testing into pipelines and reporting results.
Maintain test data, test environments, and test documentation to ensure repeatable, reliable testing.

Experience with test automation tools/frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright).
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test design techniques, and defect lifecycle management.
Experience testing APIs (REST/JSON), including validation of contracts, schemas, and edge cases; working knowledge of backend service development, frontend-to-API integration, and SQL/data validation to support end-to-end automation and defect remediation.
Familiarity with version control and CI/CD tooling.
ADA / Digital Accessibility testing experience (e.g., WCAG 2.1/2.2 concepts, ARIA basics, keyboard navigation, screen reader considerations).
