About this role
As a Senior Product Designer within the Customer pillar, you'll be part of the UX team looking after the apps and websites our customers use to order their food globally.
You’ll be joining the Promotions team, which plays a central role in how we attract, engage, and retain customers. Through high-impact campaigns and deals, our work shapes why customers choose us and why they keep coming back. Every promotion drives acquisition, order volumes, and revenue, making us one of the biggest levers for growing the business.
You’ll work with an empowered cross functional team that prioritises using research and data to help understand the problem space, before moving through the design process to deliver engaging and user-friendly solutions.
We are specifically looking for an AI-empowered designer who leverages modern tools as a force multiplier—moving rapidly from concept to near-production artifacts to bridge strategy and delivery across our consumer-facing web and native mobile products.
We want to discover what our users will love as soon as we can. We like to explore user problems in-depth, speak with users regularly, and embrace cutting-edge workflows to help us understand and meet customer needs faster.
Location: Hybrid- 3 days a week from our London or Bristol office & 2 days working from home
Reporting to: Lead Product Designer
These are some of the key components to the position:
Innovative solutions: Focus on key user problems and develop creative solutions that empower consumers to love their takeaway experience. You'll own every aspect of the product design - from solving core user needs to crafting pixel-perfect UI and shipping well-tested features.
AI-accelerated prototyping & exploration: Work across the entire product lifecycle from concept to delivery. Confidently leverage AI tools in your design workflow—whether for rapid visual exploration, generative prototyping, synthesis, or accelerating production assets across responsive web and mobile apps.
Research & synthesis: Conduct research and usability studies in conjunction with UX researchers, utilizing AI-assisted tools where appropriate to accelerate analysis and turn qualitative insights into validated product solutions.
Data-driven design: Use qualitative and quantitative data to guide your decisions. In partnership with Product Managers, you will measure and monitor the performance of consumer experiences.
Communication & vision: Transparently communicate progress, present ideas effectively to design peers and senior non-creative stakeholders, and use high-fidelity prototypes as persuasive arguments to align teams around a shared vision.
Teamwork & mentorship: Adopt a collaborative approach with cross-functional partners, mentor fellow designers, and champion high craft and modern workflow standards across the wider JET design community.
What will you bring to the team?
Proven experience in an end-to-end product design role delivering successful UX&D work both as an individual contributor and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Demonstrated experience designing and shipping high-impact consumer products across mobile app platforms (iOS/Android) and responsive web.
Strong design fundamentals (layout, typography, color), high-fidelity prototyping skills (Figma, Principle, Framer, etc.), and experience working with and contributing to design systems.
AI fluency & enthusiasm: Active experience or strong enthusiasm for leveraging modern AI tools (Figma AI tools, AI-prototyping, AI-assisted research synthesis, etc.) as a force multiplier to rapidly iterate, prototype, and bridge design strategy with execution.
Experience with workshop facilitation, design sprints, and collaborating closely with User Research.
Strong business acumen and extensive experience collaborating with senior stakeholders from Product and Technology departments.
Some experience coaching or mentoring fellow designers.
Bonus: Complex animation skills (e.g., After Effects) or foundational technical comfort (front-end fundamentals) to help bring ideas to life rapidly.
