WHAT WILL YOUR NEW JOB BE LIKE
As a Team Manager in Logistics IT Infrastructure, you play an important role in unfolding JYSK’s strategic ambition by ensuring that the infrastructure team stays motivated and feels empowered.
Your main responsibility will be to
- Lead and manage your team in alignment with Great DC Management
- Ensure high availability for IT infrastructure - systems, hardware and network
- Support IT infrastructure in 11 Distribution Centres incl. monitoring of servers and LAN
- Ensure that we have a competent, motivated & empowered IT infrastructure team
- Deliver and plan resources for projects and IT tasks across our Distribution Centres
- Ensure an efficient 2nd level support organisation within the logistics infrastructure team
- Keep technology, tools, applications and service packages up to date
- Ensure a high level of IT/OT security on IT hardware and network in close corporation with JYSK global IT Security standards
- IT budgeting, investments and IT procurement
- Negotiate and handle IT infrastructure contracts in Logistics together with our project managers
You will be leading an international Logistics IT infrastructure team, and you will have the opportunity to make a strong impact on JYSK Logistics’ ongoing international expansion through
strong people guidance, development and leadership. Your base will be at our distribution centre in Radomsko, Poland – with expected travel activity of approx. 20-30 days per year.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING
Besides successful and relevant experience from a similar leading IT position, we are looking for ambition and exceptional management skills. If you bring dedication, you will meet possibilities.
In addition, you will identify with the below characteristics
- Min. five years of experience as a manager leading people
- An educational background within IT
- General IT Infrastructure knowledge about architecture and landscapes, including IT/OT security setup
- Excellent collaboration skills, the ability to communicate at multiple levels and to build good relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally
- Experience managing and supporting enterprise IT infrastructure environments, including server, network and security technologies
- The capability to make independent decisions in a busy working day and act decisively on complex situations
- The ability to adapt quickly to new situations and to enjoy a varied working day
- Good English skills
