Responsibilities
As a Software Development Engineer, you will work with a distributed team to build digital products that transform how customers experience Keysight Services. These products span the full technology stack—from embedded firmware and industry-standard I/O communications to IoT protocols, cloud storage, visualization, and AI/ML methods that turn machine data into actionable insights.
Provide leadership and direction for defining & implementing Keysight standards around next generation instrument system and or solution support technologies
Define and implement company wide standards for solution verification & diagnostics applying advances in AI/ML
Work with KGSO & IT to define a harmonized IoT communications & cloud storage infrastructure that enables solution support services
Expectations
- Undergraduate or Graduate Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering program
- Experience with object-oriented languages. C++, C#, Java desired
- Experience with JavaScript, UI design & UI frameworks (e.g. REACT)
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to function effectively in a team environment
Desired Qualifications
Experience interfacing with electronic equipment using SCPI
Understanding of electronic circuitry and electrical engineering fundamentals

California pay range: MIN $89,600.00- MAX $149,330.00
Note: For other locations, pay ranges will vary by region
