Indirect Sourcing Engineer

1)Execute daily purchasing activities for assigned goods and services, including management of open PO and coordination of missing GR resolutions.

2)Lead end-to-end procurement processes in partnership with internal stakeholders to meet business requirements.

3)Identify and implement opportunities to improve purchasing efficiency and effectiveness.

4)Acquire and maintain technical understanding of procurement, knowledge of the supplier base and elements of product cost

5)Seeking opportunities for total cost improvement across supply base including vendor consolidation, volume leveraging and commercial negotiation

6)Lead the recruitment, evaluation, and selection of suppliers through market sourcing, identification of supplier capabilities, the creation of RFx documents, proposal review, risk analysis, and complex commercial contract negotiation. Competent to use different sourcing tools such as sealed bidding/Auction

7)Interact with Global Category Management for supplier negotiations and contract development

8)Ensures and monitors company compliance with contractual obligations, sourcing policies and preferred supplier arrangements.

9)Able to properly handle confidential and/or sensitive information relative to the business requirements

10)Other tasks assigned by the supervisor

Job Requirement

1)Bachelor’s degree from college or university

2)5+years in supply chain, 3+ years focus on sourcing role at least

3)High Integrity is a must

4)Good reading and written English are required

5)Strong analytical / problem solving skills, and excellent organizational skills

6)Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial attitude

7)Good written and verbal communication skills

8)Strong computer skills – such as ERP Systems, preferably SAP ECC, SAP SRM, SAP Ariba, Coupa and Microsoft Office Suite like Power BI etc.,

9)Experience in equipment and tooling spare parts sourcing/procurement is preferred.
