Internal: Contacts with MIE/AQP/NPD sourcing for DFM, Work with AQP/MIE/NPD souring to make sure new connector developed and qualified smoothly for DG cable assembly/set up MM/review forecast.

External: Contact with DC PJM/Supplier to review quotation/GCA collection/project schedule progress.

PRIMARY PURPOSE

• Receiving customer connector (PDE/PJM) requirements.
• Engaging Sourcing and suppliers.
• Obtaining the initial quotation and DFM.
• Reviewing and challenging the DFM with local SMEs, then providing consolidated feedback to the Connector PDE team and align the design till it gets ready for TTV tool kick off.
• Working with suppliers to develop prototype and FOT samples and share the plan with connector and cable Assy PJM team.
• Coordinating with the respective PDE, AQP, and QA teams to complete FAI activities and ensure timely part release in the system.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1.

Communicates as the bridge between connect PJM and plant cable PJM reference to the project. Responsive and timely support for information and deliverables. Ensure to meet customer expectations.

Acts as the plant connector PJM Leader. Report barriers clearly to gain management action. Break down project plans into actionable tasks and track day-to-day progress against timelines and milestones .Make sure New Product Development process and procedures are followed.

Perform Project Management function. Make use of Project Management methodologies such as Action Item Lists, Team meetings, Change Control, Timelines, etc. to manage the team through execution of the Project Plan. Execute professional, informative and timely Project Phase Reviews.

Perform Risk Management to protect the Project Plan. Work with CFT to identify potential risks to plan execution and identify appropriate Mitigation or Contingency Plans. Get management support for proactive activities to meet the Project Plan.

Assist NPD sourcing/supplier to meet Molex and customer request, Work with ME/AQP/Supplier to ensure new developed connector components meet Molex’s expectation for timing, cost and quality in support of the Project Plan.

Take responsible for gathering required connector qualification result and documents including PS/AS/DVP&R/ UL, CSA, VDE etc. for cable assembly.

Maintain connector and cable project linkage and list for better project management.

Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Lead project management team to accelerate new projects qualification and review projects progress monthly

SCOPE

Work independently to lead team finish new connector kick off around DG local supplier and qualified both internally and at connector side. Expected to be able to good communication with other departments and better service customer, hands-on experience in project coordination, NPD lifecycle support, scheduling, documentation, and stakeholder management in a fast-paced environment.

EDUCATION

REQUIRED

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Industrial, or related fields)

CET6 or above, frequent English in both oral and written.

PREFERRED

·BS or MS in an engineering discipline most applicable to the processes assigned

WORK EXPERIENCE

REQUIRED

·2-4 years of experience in Project management, New product development(NPD).

PREFERRED

·Engineering experience

• Strong leadership capabilities, excellent presentation, facilitation and negotiation skills, decision-making capabilities, conflict resolution, risk management;
• Good English skill in writing and speaking Job Requirement

PREFERRED

• CAPM/PMP/Prince2 certification or project management training is an added advantage
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Planner, MS Project, Office 365, SharePoint
• Basic familiarity with Generative AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) and willingness to learn their application in a professional setting
• Exposure to regulatory approval process such as UL, CSA, VDE etc
• Experience in Terminal and connector industry or products
