What you’ll be doing

  • You’ll work within a product team to shape customer and colleague journeys from the start. You’ll:
  • Shape information architecture, content hierarchy, page structures, interactions and calls to action
  • Make complex financial products, processes and requirements easier to understand and act on
  • Decide what people need to know, when they need it and what will help them move forward
  • Create and test content using research, usability testing, analytics and experimentation
  • Work directly with Product Designers in Figma to design content and interactions together
  • Work with Research, Product, Engineering, legal, risk and business specialists to solve customer problems
  • Use AI to synthesise research, find existing content and identify complexity, inconsistency and duplication
  • Use AI to generate, prototype and test different content approaches earlier
  • Create reusable prompts, workflows, agents and patterns that reduce repetitive work and help teams learn earlier
  • Critically review AI-generated content for accuracy, accessibility, tone, usefulness and customer understanding.
  • Why join us?
  • We’re on an exciting journey to transform our Group and the way we’re shaping finance for good. We’re focusing on the future, investing in our technologies, workplaces, and colleagues to make our Group a great place for everyone.
  • What we’re looking for?
  • Experience in content design, UX writing or a similar user-centred role
  • Excellent writing skills and the ability to learn complex subjects quickly and explain them simply
  • Experience designing content for digital products and services
  • Experience using evidence to make and challenge content decisions

Experience working in multidisciplinary product teams

  • Experience taking work from discovery through prototyping, testing and delivery
  • Experience using research and testing to improve content
  • Confidence working in Figma
  • A strong understanding of accessibility and inclusive design
  • The ability to understand end-to-end journeys while paying attention to individual interactions
  • Confidence identifying when a content problem points to a wider experience problem.
  • Working with AI

We’re particularly interested in people who

  • Experiment with generative AI in their content or design work
  • Can show how AI has improved their work
  • Critically review AI-generated content
  • Understand the importance of accuracy, evidence, accessibility and human oversight
  • Are curious about how designers and AI could work together differently.
  • You do not need to be an expert in every AI tool. We’re more interested in curiosity, experimentation and strong content judgement.
  • And any experience of these would be great
  • Financial services, lending, fintech or another regulated environment
  • Complex application, eligibility, decisioning or servicing journeys
  • Customer and colleague experiences
  • Design systems and reusable content patterns
  • Conversational or AI-enabled experiences
  • Reusable AI workflows or agents.
  • We know that great talent comes from many backgrounds. Whilst this job advert may reference specific years of experience, we recognise that skills are developed in many ways, so if you have relevant, transferable experience, we encourage you to apply.
