Position Summary/Objective
Lead the global analytics and decision intelligence agenda for Sourcing and Supply Planning. Serve as the business-facing product leader across supplier and factory performance, procurement and purchase-order execution, supply planning, inventory, capacity and constraints, and supply-demand balancing. Partner with global and regional business leaders, IT Data & Analytics, Product and Engineering to govern KPIs, shape GCP and ARC data products and semantic models, deliver Google Looker experiences, and develop advanced analytics, GenAI, AI-agent and scenario-planning capabilities from discovery through adoption and value realization.
Key Responsibilities
Own the global Sourcing and Supply Planning analytics and decision intelligence roadmap, prioritizing products and use cases by value, feasibility, data readiness and user need.
- Serve as the primary analytics partner to global and regional Sourcing and Supply Planning leaders and translate operating decisions into product requirements, decision workflows and measurable outcomes.
- Lead Supply Planning analytics across supply-demand balancing, inventory and deployment planning, capacity and constraint management, frozen-horizon adherence, lead times, backlog, service, reliability and exceptions.
- Lead Sourcing analytics across supplier and factory performance, procurement, purchase-order execution, vendor OTIF, capacity, lead times, PO completeness, sourcing mix, cost, productivity, risk and corrective actions.
- Own business governance for Sourcing and Planning KPIs, dimensions, hierarchies, calculation rules, grains, exclusions and drill paths, driving global standardization with justified regional flexibility.
- Partner with IT Data & Analytics and Engineering to define and validate data products and semantic models in GCP and ARC, including business rules, joins, conformed dimensions, data-quality controls and lineage.
- Guide governed executive, tactical and operational analytics in Google Looker / LookML, including certified metrics, self-service exploration and conversational analytics.
- Build a portfolio of advanced analytics, GenAI and AI-agent solutions such as supplier-risk prediction, lead-time forecasting, planning copilots, PO agents, predictive exceptions, inventory optimization and sourcing recommendations.
- Lead scenario-planning products covering supplier disruption, capacity constraints, demand variability, inventory strategies, sourcing mix, tariffs and service-cost trade-offs.
- Lead cross-functional squads with Business Owners, Planning & Analytics, IT Data & Analytics, Product and Engineering, using clear outcomes, backlog, acceptance criteria and transition-to-scale plans.
- Drive UAT, training, adoption, usage measurement and benefit validation, ensuring delivered products are embedded in S&OP, S&OE, sourcing and planning processes.
- Coach and develop the two Sourcing and Supply Planning analysts, building domain expertise, technical fluency, product discipline and strong regional and global partnerships.
