As a Manager, Brand Marketing at Loblaw, you'll play a key role in bringing some of Canada's most recognized and loved brands to life. From bold, integrated marketing campaigns and exciting brand partnerships to memorable activations and innovative customer experiences, you'll help turn creative ideas into impactful moments that connect with Canadians.
This is an opportunity for a passionate, creative, and results-driven marketer who loves making things happen. You'll work at the intersection of brand strategy, creativity, and execution, collaborating with talented teams across Marketing, Creative, Media, Digital, Merchandising, and external agency partners.
You'll have the opportunity to influence how our brands show up in the market, find new ways to engage customers, and deliver marketing programs that not only drive business results but also build brand love.
If you're energized by big ideas, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and love seeing your work come to life in the real world, this role is for you.
What you'll do
Bring big ideas to life: Lead the development and execution of integrated brand marketing campaigns, programs, and activations that drive awareness, engagement, and brand affinity. From concept to launch, you'll help create compelling experiences that resonate with customers and deliver against business objectives.
Turn insights into creative opportunities: Translate brand strategies, consumer insights, cultural trends, and business priorities into thoughtful, actionable campaign plans. Collaborate with cross-functional partners to uncover opportunities that make our brands more relevant, engaging, and impactful.
Own campaigns from start to finish: Drive campaign planning and execution, including developing inspiring creative briefs, managing timelines and budgets, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring every touchpoint delivers against the brand vision.
Create memorable brand moments: Support the development and execution of exciting brand activations, strategic partnerships, experiential initiatives, and in-store programs that bring our brands closer to customers and create opportunities for meaningful engagement.
Collaborate with creative minds: Be a key partner to internal and external agencies, media teams, Loblaw Digital, Loblaw Media, Merchandising, and other business partners to bring innovative, integrated marketing ideas to market.
Champion our brands: Support marketing initiatives across our portfolio of Control Brands, ensuring campaigns and activations are strategically aligned, creatively compelling, and consistent with brand positioning and guidelines.
Find ways to make great work even better: Track campaign performance, evaluate results, and turn learnings into actionable insights. Share recommendations and best practices that help strengthen future campaigns, unlock new opportunities, and continuously elevate our marketing.
Make things happen: Navigate a dynamic, collaborative environment with confidence, balancing multiple priorities, solving challenges creatively, and ensuring programs are delivered with excellence.
What you bring
A passion for brands and creativity: You love great marketing, stay curious about consumer trends, and get excited about finding new ways for brands to show up and connect with people.
3–5 years of marketing experience, ideally with exposure to integrated campaigns, brand marketing, experiential marketing, partnerships, or activations.
A track record of bringing ideas to life: Experience developing and executing marketing campaigns or programs, with a strong understanding of how strategy translates into impactful creative execution.
Strong collaboration skills: You're comfortable partnering with creative agencies, internal teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to move projects forward and deliver great work.
A creative and strategic mindset: You can connect consumer insights and business objectives with compelling marketing opportunities, bringing both imagination and commercial thinking to the table.
Excellent project management skills: You're highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects, timelines, and budgets in a fast-paced environment.
A results-driven approach: You understand the importance of measurement and know how to use campaign performance, data, and insights to inform future decisions.
A proactive, can-do attitude: You're resourceful, adaptable, comfortable with ambiguity, and always looking for ways to make the work better.
Most importantly, you're someone who loves turning ideas into action, takes pride in delivering exceptional work, and gets genuinely excited when a campaign, activation, or brand experience comes to life.
