Director, Information Technology

In this role, you will lead and evolve our corporate IT environment, partnering closely with executive and branch leadership to align technology strategy with business goals, drive innovation, and deliver secure, scalable, and reliable IT services that support our continued growth.

A Day in the Life: Provide strategic leadership and direction for Long View’s corporate IT function (systems, platforms, and governance) Collaborate with leaders across Long View to align IT strategy, priorities, and investments with business objectives Act as a senior advocate for corporate IT initiatives with the executive team and Long View’s SVP, Global Services Translate business strategy into a clear, actionable corporate IT roadmap and outcomes-based portfolio Lead and manage corporate IT financial planning and governance (budget, forecasting, optimization, and investment prioritization) Establish performance expectations, success metrics, and accountability across corporate IT teams Lead and develop high-performing leaders and team members through coaching, mentoring, and Career Life Planning (CLP) Provide executive oversight and strategic direction for corporate IT operations, including infrastructure and our #MostLoved end-user services Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of corporate IT services through appropriate operating rhythms and service management maturity Partner with operational leaders to address gaps where technology capabilities and business needs do not align Partner with executive leadership and the Office of the CISO to align corporate security priorities, risks, and investment decisions Provide executive oversight of security initiatives as they relate to corporate IT (identity, endpoint, cloud, data protection, resilience) Support compliance with Long View’s security program, including ISO, SOC, and PCI requirements; ensure audit readiness within corporate IT scope Coordinate corporate IT initiatives to ensure alignment with executive requirements and enterprise architecture standards Facilitate collaboration with subject matter experts (SMEs) and technical architects to design and deliver new solutions and services Enable cross-department technology alignment including collaboration with SOC, NOC, OneCloud, and On-Demand Infrastructure (ODI) Lead governance practices that align corporate IT initiatives with organizational, branch, and practice priorities What You Bring: 15+ years of progressive experience in Information Technology roles, including senior leadership accountability 10+ years leading diverse, distributed teams with a track record of building leadership capability Demonstrated success translating business strategy into IT roadmaps, operating models, and measurable outcomes Strong understanding of enterprise IT including infrastructure, cloud, security, identity, and data management Proven experience owning budgets, forecasting, cost optimization, and investment prioritization Exceptional communication skills—able to influence executives and align stakeholders through clear narratives and data Comfort operating in complex environments; ability to make decisions with incomplete information and manage risk Ability to translate technical issues into business impacts, options, and recommendations Strong relationship-building skills; seen as a trusted leader and positive agent of change Willingness and ability to coach, mentor, and develop others What Makes You Extra Awesome: Ability to communicate value to the business leadership team A confident, credible, and collaborative leader who sets clear direction and earns followership Passionate about delivering an exceptional end-user/employee experience Customer-oriented, outcomes-focused, and pragmatic High energy, proactive, and continuous-improvement minded Possesses strong interpersonal skills and executive presence Curious and informed about emerging technology trends and their business impact Committed to Long View’s core values: Integrity, Competence, Value and Fun Why Work at Long View?
