Electrical Engineer

Reporting to: Lead Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

This position is directly responsible for the supervision, co-ordination and record keeping of all maintenance related activities on the plant site.

Duties

•  Controls all maintenance documents as outlined on the site Master List of Controlled Documents.
•  To assigns preventive and corrective maintenance jobs to maintenance technicians as per the direction of Maintenance Manager.
•  To develop, supervises and co-ordinate plant maintenance activities.
•  To plan and inspect completed work on plant device.
•  To maintain records, prepare reports and compose correspondence relative to work.
•  To acquire considerable knowledge of the process and the relevant mechanical, instrument & control and electrical system throughout the plant and apply the same to trouble shoot problems and leads the maintenance team in resolving the issue.
•  To train the subordinates on preventive and corrective maintenance.
•  To communicate effectively with others, both verbally and in writing.
•  To execute work order through CMMS and co-ordinate with Electrical Technicians for job completion and technical matters.
•  To assist Maintenance Manager in planning and scheduling outage works with due regard to annual scheduled maintenance plan.

Education and/or Experience

• BSc Engineering Electrical from a recognized University with 5-7 years’ experience in similar capacity at combined cycle power plant preferably having GE F Class Technology.
•  Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
•  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
•  Ability to speak effectively to employees of the organization
