Email Marketing Specialist (Hybrid - Philadelphia, PA)

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Overview

Works with the commercial banking & equipment finance marketing automation team as well as designers, developers, and project managers to coordinate, build, set-up and send emails and digital communications through our marketing automation software.

Primary Responsibilities

• Maintain the currency and accuracy of the email schedule, ensuring emails are on target to be sent on time.
• Manage email campaigns throughout the project process, ensuring projects run smoothly and all approvals are obtained.
• Build, test, proof, set-up and send emails.
• Assist with email marketing program development and execution, including segmentation, testing, and deployment.
• Manage the coordination of email reporting.
• Assist in researching and implementing latest best practices and industry standards across marketing automation platform.
• Implement A/B and multivariate testing on emails and content to maximize performance and engagement.
• Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
• Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
• Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
• Complete other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Required

• Associate’s degree and a minimum of 3 years’ relevant work experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 5 years’ higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 3 years’ relevant work experience
• Proven project management skills
• Proven organizational skills
• Proven verbal and written communications skills

Detail-oriented

Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously

Experience working within given creative specifications in a fast-paced environment

Education and Experience Preferred

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field

Proficiency with marketing automation platforms

Working knowledge of pertinent customer relationship management software

M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $28.60 - $47.66 Hourly (USD). The successful candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
