This role exists to step-change how we manage organic social media at Royal Canin in Europe, across TikTok, Instagram & Facebook.

Centralise European Social Media Operations: Lead the transition of individual European markets into a single, unified "Hub" model by establishing standardized workflows, governance, and tooling (like Sprinklr).

Drive Brand Consistency at Scale: Ensure the strategic creation and timely delivery of a centralized base of high-quality social assets, maintaining a consistent brand voice.

Ensure Quality Community Management: Improve pet owner experience by establishing an ‘always on’ community management process that proactively engages with Pet Owners and effectively handles sensitive escalations

What are we looking for?

Proven experience in social media management, including planning, publishing, and optimising content across key platforms.

Multi-Market Experience: Experience managing multi-market campaigns, including content localization and transcreation across different cultures and languages

Platform Mastery: Deep understanding of the algorithms, best practices, and content formats for TikTok & Instagram.

Community Management: Experience in community management, e.g: setting up moderation guidelines & crisis escalation protocols.

Data & Reporting: Ability to analyse and interpret social media performance metrics (Engagement Rate, Video Views, CTR).

Sprinklr Expertise: Advanced knowledge of Sprinklr is essential, as this will be the system that the agency use to manage our social accounts.

Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication skills to act as the primary liaison between the agency, local Royal Canin market teams, and regional stakeholders.

What will be your key responsibilities?

Establish the Social Content Hub: Work with our social media agency to set-up ‘the Hub’. This includes supporting the agency with a global content audit, Sprinklr set-up and establishing clear RACI’s / Ways of Working.

Social Media Playbook Development: Work with the agency to create a European Social Media & Community Management Playbook (including moderation principles, tone-of-voice, and crisis escalation guidelines).

EU Social Strategy Development: Work with the agency to create a unified European Social Media Strategy that aligns with Royal Canin’s global strategy while maintaining local relevance.

Content Calendar: Work with the agency & local content managers to ensure the Content Calendar aligns with regional priorities. Ensure locally produced content can be seamlessly integrated.

Market Rollout: Work with local markets to manage the phased transition to migrate them into the centralized Hub model.

Quality Assurance: Hold the agency to account toensure all content meets delivery timelines and achieves high-quality stakeholder ratings.

Community Management: Ensure there is clear alignment on processes & escalations between the agency and our local customer care teams.

Performance Tracking / Insights: Oversee the agencies reporting deliverables, including monthly and quarterly business reviews. Share these with relevant stakeholders.
