This role acts as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, partnering closely with P&O, Legal, Finance, and various Business Units to design and deliver a world-class Contingent Workforce Program.

By leveraging deep industry expertise, the Strategic Sourcing Manager will drive commercial value, optimize supplier performance, mitigate co-employment and regulatory risks, and champion innovative talent acquisition and engagement models.

What would be your key responsibilities?

Category Strategy & Leadership

Strategic Roadmap: Develop in partnership with P&O lead to execute a comprehensive global category strategy for Contingent Workforce (including Managed Service Providers (MSP), Vendor Management Systems (VMS), temp-to-hire, Independent Contractors, and Statement of Work (SOW) services).

Demand and Spend Analysis: Analyze global spend data, market intelligence, and internal demand patterns to identify cost-saving opportunities, demand management strategies, and process efficiencies.

Stakeholder Alignment: Build strong, collaborative relationships with P&O/Talent Acquisition, Legal, IT, and Business leadership to align procurement strategies with corporate talent acquisition and workforce planning goals.

Sourcing, Negotiation & Contract Management

Sourcing Execution: Lead complex, end-to-end strategic sourcing initiatives (RFx processes) from requirements gathering and market research to vendor evaluation, selection, and onboarding.

Commercial Negotiation: Negotiate highly competitive commercial terms, service level agreements (SLAs), and pricing models (e.g., rate cards, markup caps, performance-based pricing).

Contract Excellence: Partner with Legal and Risk teams to draft, review, and execute master services agreements (MSAs), statements of work (SOWs), and non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) that minimize co-employment, compliance, and IP risks.

Supplier Performance & Relationship Management (SRM)

MSP & VMS Governance: Oversee the performance of key strategic partners, including the Managed Service Provider (MSP) and Vendor Management System (VMS) providers, ensuring adherence to strict SLAs and KPIs.

Supplier Business Reviews: Establish structured governance frameworks and conduct regular Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with critical contingent labor suppliers to drive continuous improvement, innovation, and risk management.

Issue Resolution: Act as the primary escalation point for vendor disputes, performance bottlenecks, and contract non-compliance.
