The Automotive Visualisation Design Expert creates high-quality, compelling visualizations that communicate the form, materiality and character of McLaren vehicles. Combining specialist automotive visualization expertise with mastery of Unreal Engine, motion graphics and emerging AI tools, the role supports creative development and presents design intent with clarity and impact.

Working within a fast-paced creative environment, the expert collaborates with designers and other disciplines to deliver visual work that meets McLaren’s standards for performance, precision and luxury.

What You'll Do

• Produce high-quality automotive visualisations for design exploration, reviews and presentations. Unreal Engine will be the core tool.
• Develop and refine real-time visualisation workflows, with a particular focus on Unreal Engine.
• Create accurate and evocative visualisations of automotive colours, materials and finishes.
• Produce motion graphics and animation that communicate vehicle design, features and experiences.
• Use a range of visualisation tools and techniques to meet project needs and creative objectives.
• Apply AI tools to support visualisation workflows, experimentation and creative development.
• Work closely with designers and project teams to understand briefs, interpret design intent and deliver appropriate visual outcomes.
• Contribute to visualisation reviews and provide specialist advice on image quality, materials, lighting, composition and motion.
• Organize project files, assets and outputs to support efficient collaboration and reliable delivery.
• Keep informed about the latest visualisation tools, AR/VR techniques and trends, identifying relevant opportunities for the team.
• Share expertise and contribute to a collaborative, supportive creative environment.

What You'll Bring

Knowledge of current visualization trends, tools and techniques.Strong visual judgement and a refined sensibility for luxury, materials, craftsmanship and detail.Confidence working across multiple visualization tools and adapting workflows to project requirements.Practical experience using AI tools in visualization or related creative workflows, with the ability to assess where they can add value.Strong motion-graphics and animation skills.Specialist capability in automotive colour and materials visualization.Advanced Unreal Engine skills and experience delivering high-quality real-time visualization.Expert knowledge of automotive visualization workflows and production requirements.Proven professional track record in automotive visualization.
