The Role

The successful candidate will be supporting the VP & BD on EMEA & global new business opportunities- RFP’s, RFI’s, growth marketing, prospecting and events.

The role itself will involve a range of activities including:

Manage and Coordinate RFI/RFP & Pitch Processes- developing internal briefings, gathering inputs from across the business and contributing to compelling, high-quality proposal responses and presentations.

Lead Prospect & Market Research- monitoring industry developments, client activity and market trends to identify and prioritise new business opportunities and build targeted prospect lists.

Own & Continuously Improve the New Business Collateral Library- ensuring pitch decks, case studies, credentials and sales materials are current, easily accessible and effectively communicate our proposition and capabilities.

Partner Closely with Marketing to Turn Activity into Commercial Opportunity- supporting events, roundtables, campaigns and other growth initiatives, and ensuring effective prospect targeting and follow-up.

Manage Day to Day Use & Quality of the CRM- ensuring opportunities, contacts and activity are accurately captured, supporting internal users and driving consistent CRM adoption.

Track, Analyse & Report on Growth Performance- including pipeline, lead progression, conversion and marketing effectiveness, translating data into clear insights and recommended actions.

Support Priority Account & Opportunity Planning- helping identify routes to market, key stakeholders, relevant propositions and next steps across target organisations.

Use AI & Emerging Technology to Improve Business Development Effectiveness- supporting faster research, stronger content development and more efficient reuse of knowledge across pitches and proposals.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have the following

4+ years’ experience in a B2B business development, growth or marketing role, ideally within professional services, consulting, media, marketing or a similar environment

Proven experience supporting and coordinating new business opportunities, pitches, proposals and/or RFP processes

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop high-quality client-facing content, presentations and proposals

Strong relationship-building skills and confidence working with senior internal and external stakeholders

Excellent project management and organisational skills, with a track record of managing multiple priorities and deadlines independently

Experience using CRM platforms, ideally HubSpot, to manage opportunities, pipeline data and reporting

Strong proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, with the ability to produce polished presentations

An analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret pipeline, marketing and market data and translate it into actionable commercial insight

A proactive, solutions-focused approach, with the confidence to take ownership rather than wait for direction

Experience using AI and automation tools to support research, content development or business development workflows would be advantageous

Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and responding to changing business priorities

An understanding of, or strong interest in, the media, marketing and advertising ecosystem would be beneficial

Every application is reviewed by a human on our team (not AI), so it may take us a bit of time to get through them. Because of the large number of applications we receive, we’re not always able to reply to everyone individually (especially regarding cv reviews or direct messages) but we truly appreciate your interest.

Please note that can only consider candidates who already have the right to work in the UK and do not require, now or in the future, visa sponsorship
