Senior Human Resources Business Partner

Redmond, WA In person Full-time

Overview

Microsoft Frontier Co. is a brand-new line of business and one of the industry's first organizations built entirely around customer outcomes. It brings together deep industry expertise, strategic partnerships and world-class engineering as part of MCAPS. Our teams work side by side with customers to co-design, deploy and continuously improve AI systems that deliver measurable, customer-defined results. Everything we do is anchored in end-to-end Frontier Transformation: helping customers turn AI into real, lasting business value.

Frontier Co. is flat and built to move at customer speed. It's where Microsoft is building its next growth engine and where the industry's shift from delivering technology to delivering outcomes is being defined. If you join, you'll help build it from the ground up.

As a Senior Human Resources Business Partner supporting the Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) Studios, you will help shape the talent strategy behind some of Microsoft Frontier Co.'s most critical and innovative businesses. These are studios that embed engineers directly in customer environments to turn AI into real outcomes for Fortune 50 companies. This role covers everything from building world-class FDE capabilities to scaling the teams that deliver them, and it sits where people, AI and business transformation meet.

It calls for a hands-on builder, build traditonal approaches. You will connect people decisions to customer outcomes, studio capacity, delivery quality and cost-to-serve. You will redesign work, roles and teams so engineers and AI agents work together seamlessly. And you will build, test, simplify and scale solutions alongside the studios rather than only advising them. You will move at studio speed, bring clear options and trade-offs, and optimize for one Frontier rather than any single studio, always using sound judgment.
