Overview

Lead the technology strategy for Unilever—turning deep industry insight into a clear competitive advantage and bold business outcomes. As a trusted adviser to senior leaders, this role shapes the account’s long-term roadmap, positions Microsoft to win against the competition, and converts innovation across AI, cloud, data and security into measurable value. Success comes through close partnership with the GAD, Account Executive, UK ATS, customer, partners and a diverse global Microsoft team: bringing people together, creating momentum, celebrating wins and making a demanding, high-impact account genuinely enjoyable to work on.

Responsibilities

• Customer AI and Security Strategy Leadership
• 15+ years of experience in technology strategy, enterprise architecture, cloud transformation or technical sales, with demonstrated leadership of large-scale transformation programs in complex global enterprises
• Understand and document customer business objectives, technology landscape, and AI and Security strategy.
• Lead with the team immediate development of a compete plan and technology roadmap.
• Build trusted relationships with C-level technology and innovation executives, driving increased NSAT and ATQ scores.
• Facilitate Executive Technology Briefings to align Microsoft’s solutions with Unilever’s strategic priorities.
• Lead Customers Agentic AI strategy, shaping enterprise use cases and architecture across Azure AI, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio and Microsoft 365 Copilot Cowork, aligned to business priorities and measurable outcomes.
• Define the technical roadmap for enterprise agents, covering agent architecture, orchestration, grounding, integration, security, identity and governance across Microsoft and third-party AI ecosystems.
• Drive AI from experimentation to enterprise scale, partnering with Unilever, Microsoft engineering and SI partners to move Copilot and agentic solutions from pilots into secure, governed and production-ready deployments
• Drive Operational and Commercial Excellence
• Ensure a robust qualified pipeline, with emphasis on AI design wins, Copilot adoption, and security solutions.
• Lead technical governance and unblock consumption challenges across solution areas.
• Build and execute MACC consumption plans in collaboration with team
• Drive Azure resiliency and optimization aligned to customers’ needs.

Technology Leadership Across Microsoft

• Orchestrate internal and partner technical teams to deliver excellence and customer outcomes.
• Share customer win stories and best practices across the global ATS community.
• Champion continuous learning, especially in AI and Security, and complete all required training.
• Leverage Microsoft AI tools to reduce non-core tasks and increase strategic impact.
• Compliance and Trust
• Model integrity and ethical behaviour in every decision.
• Ensure full adherence to Microsoft’s compliance policies and training requirements.
• Proactively identify and escalate risks, supporting a culture of transparency and trust.

How You’ll Work

Operate as a trusted advisor and technology strategist, translating the Account vision into a technical roadmap.

Collaborate closely with the GAD, AE, ATS team, Executive Sponsors, CSAMs, Solution Specialists, Engineers, and the broader Microsoft ecosystem.

Lead with curiosity, empathy, and a growth mindset—always seeking to learn, share, and elevate others.

Proven experience in digital transformation roles, ideally within Consumer Goods

Strong technical foundation with the ability to lead both business and technical envisioning conversations.

Demonstrated success in delivering large-scale cloud transformation programmes across multi-geo enterprises.

Deep understanding of enterprise and solution architecture.

Exceptional change leadership and customer engagement skills.

Experience working in global teams with a willingness to travel internationally.

Considerable experience in technical sales and strategic account management.

Compete mindset for a customer with a growing GCP footprint. Resilence to challenge, think differently and build a winning strategy for FY 27 & beyond.

Required/minimum qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or related field AND 6+ years technical consulting, technical consultative selling, business consulting, practice building, or related technical/sales experience OR equivalent experience.

Additional or preferred qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or related field AND 12+ years technical consulting, technical consultative selling, business consulting, practice building, or related technical/sales experience OR equivalent experience.

6+ years experience in relevant customer industry.

6+ years experience in digital transformation, or using technology to drive customer business outcomes.
